Nice, typically rustic Belize style resort. Everyone working there that we interacted with was friendly. Very few rooms occupied the two nights we were there (5 rooms the second night and less than that the first night it seemed), which was good in some ways but not great for the resort. It seems they don't use dynamic pricing because I would have stayed another night if the price wasn't so much higher for the Saturday night stay even though I was told they only had 10 rooms booked for Saturday. The restaurant was good--you pretty much have to eat there unless you want to drive a long way. It would have been nice if the server had told us at breakfast that each coffee refill was an additional charge so we could take that into consideration before asking for more. The Spa on the rooftop which looked like a nice place to relax didn't work but other than that everything was as expected and nice. One of the owners was often around and very friendly.

The owners introduced themselves when we arrived and made us feel at home. The staff was wonderful and accommodating in everything. They were willing to answer any reasonable question asked them. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. We would definitely go back.

I woke up with my abdomen and back covered in bug bites that came from my one night stay. Housekeeping unlocked and opened my door while I was changing at 10:00 the morning of my check out. I had to yell that I was still in the room so they would leave. That made me feel extremely unsafe and when I made a comment about to th front desk they had nothing to say about it. I’d like a refund.

This was the perfect place to stay on our first night in Belize. It is only a short drive and pick up from the airport is offered. The location is quiet and right on the river. The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. The food is really good. We took a morning boat ride with Edmund and saw 30 bird species. Highly recommend this location.

Clean, secure, comfortable. Grounds are beautiful. We saw monkeys in the tree outside our room. Right on the river and there are canoes. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, both were quite good. Property is not in a town, not really a walkable area.
