Cox Bay Beach Resort

Loved being so close to the beach.

we loved it its right on the beach so we can do morning walks. cox bay has so many sand dollars it was so much fun.

It was just a great place to stay...service was fantastic

It was a great midway point for exploring Ucluelet and Tofino with hikes out our door. Kitchen was well equipped - loved the coffee!

A beautiful property with amazing beach view and all the amenities required for a stay. Most of the places for sight seeing are nearby. The staff was extremely welcoming and humble. Will be visiting again for sure.

Cox Bay resort is such a comfortable resort with kitchen facilities. The site is magical and the access to the beach is amazing . The staff is super friendly and takes great care of their guests. We had an issue with the fireplace and we got a new unit with a bottle of wine, chocolate and a lovely card to apologize for the inconvenience . I will come back and thank you for your hospitality.

Such a beautiful property and loved having access to such a fun beach to watch surfers. Kitchens were well stocked plus blenders!! What a treat! I brought tools from home and didn’t really use any of my own except my own coffee press because I’m particular but they had a good one available. I can’t think of one thing I was wanting for except more time to stay longer!

Friendly staff. Short walk to the spectacular beach. Bed was a bit too soft for us but overall, not too bad. Unfortunately no views of the ocean from the room.

Great property and staff

GREAT location, pet friendly and works for having a reactive dog. Clean and spacious suite, and the kitchen was great to have as well - especially in the winter months when restaurants are more limited. I assume some rooms on the balconies can see the ocean but our room we couldn't from the bottom floor. The staff were helpful and kind when we would encounter them/had questions. Lighting in the bathroom was a struggle to see anything to get ready and the feather pillows were too firm for my liking which lead to neck pain. But I would stay here again though!

We have stayed at quite a few resorts in Tofino and Uke over the years, and this was our first time at Cox Bay Resort. It offers a great spot right on Cox Bay, which is beautiful and offers excellent surfing and boogie boarding. Staff was very friendly and did a great job! Some minor annoyances spot me from giving the full 5 stars. All the resort facilities (ping pong table, hot tub, lounge, weight room etc) require getting a key from the front desk, and so we didnt use any of them other than the ping pong for our kids. An upgrade to programmed key cards could solve this. We were in a ground floor suite and our neighbours on the upstairs were quite loud, something I would consider for next time. Other than that it was a great stay.

So many rules for everything. Super inconvenient to have to sign out keys. Surely only guests have access so why is this needed. Drainage seems to be an issue as well.

The beach is stunning! We went for three days but could easily have spent a week. Perfect getaway spot.

Great location on Cox Beach. Well appointed rooms and amenities. Sauna, hot tub, exercise room. Also a nice lounge space. Check in was easy and staff were very friendly. Just a couple things; , bathroom plug ins didn’t work, also lighting was very dim in bathrooms and sofa bed cushions had a couple rips. I would recommend this property to friends and family and would stay there in the future

Spacious and clean. Who doesn’t love to be on the west coast.
