We had a good stay, overall. The staff was very friendly, our room was very clean, and housekeeping was super accommodating. The rate was also very reasonable for what we received. However, the complimentary breakfast was very subpar, and we could hear a lot of noise from the hallway, which was a bit disruptive. Overall, a decent stay for the price, with a few areas that could use improvement.

I stayed here for two nights during the Spartan Race in Red Deer and was disappointed with the overall quality, especially for over $240 per night. The hallways and room carpets did not appear properly vacuumed, the room had an unpleasant odour, and the jacuzzi looked dirty enough that I cleaned it myself before using it. The biggest issue was the extremely uncomfortable mattress and pillows—I barely slept the night before my race when I really needed a good rest. Breakfast was also very basic. Unfortunately, the quality does not justify the price, and I would not stay here again.

For a sold out hotel to have one person on staff at supper time to help with towels for the pool, to helping out customers etc is poor management. We had to wait for over an hour for a basic necessity in our bedroom purely because there was one person to help with 100+ rooms. The staff was incredibly helpful and apologetic for shortcomings that could have been avoided if staffing was adequate. This hotel is run down, the toilets don’t flush, the pool is dirty, the elevator gets stuck on floors. The breakfast is overcrowded and in need of more food for the amount of guests. I won’t be returning and management's/hotel owners should be looking at ways to improve this hotel.

Wow… I really wish I had read the negative reviews before booking here. 😩 I’m thinking this may have been a nice hotel years ago, but it feels like it hasn’t been updated in a long time and perhaps they just don’t have the resources to maintain it properly. Everything felt a bit dirty. Both sinks in our room wouldn’t drain… gross! I had actually paid to upgrade to a nicer room, and I regretted it almost immediately. The bathroom fan was incredibly loud but didn’t actually remove any moisture. To top it off, we were put next to a family with young children who were very noisy. The room came with one coffee pod. I asked for more, and the front desk handed me one extra. I had to explain that there were two of us and we needed two more. Breakfast was by far the biggest disappointment. There was very little food, it took forever for anything to be refilled, there were almost no healthy options, and several of the machines were broken. They were using cheap paper plates and wooden cutlery, the garbage was overflowing, and staff didn’t seem interested in addressing it. After just staying at the Canalta in Olds—which I highly recommend—this place was a huge letdown. I definitely would not stay here again.

Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely return. The room was spacious and comfortable. My only complaint was that the Ethernet port was at the bar-height table instead of the desk, which made working remotely inconvenient. I loved that the bathroom was stocked with Dove hand soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The soap and lotion were mounted in an awkward spot that would be difficult for most kids to reach. The sink pressure was very strong, but the shower was average. The oversized bath towels were a nice bonus. I didn’t use the gym, but it looked well equipped. I had an excellent massage, and I enjoyed having the pool spa completely to myself both days. The restaurant was the biggest disappointment. I called for room service and was told they’d check if someone could deliver it and call me back. After waiting nearly 30 minutes with no callback, I called twice more with no answer. When I went down, the restaurant wasn’t busy. Service was slow both nights, but the food was alright. The hotel staff were friendly and easy to deal with. The location was convenient, with plenty nearby and lots of parking. I also appreciated the security since guest floors require a key card, although visitors need to be met in the lobby - including food deliveries.

Room was very quiet considering how close to the elevator we were. No variety in pillows, all were extremely soft and almost disappeared when you laid down. Included breakfast was just ok, significantly less variety then when we had stayed in the past. Overall would stay again

I got charged almost $200 for 'damages' from some hair dye on a couple towels. Wasn't reached out to or provided a cost breakdown; I had to notice and reach out. I keep being told a manager will get back to me. I've never had a hotel charge me for this. Aren't they just bleached anyway?
