My experience at Rig puerto malecon was beyond my expectations the hotel was clean and a safe environment wich isthe most important for me i to thank cristopher for always helping me in anything that i need it and also Antonia for always making sure my room was clean and in general the whole staff was amazing i will definitely consider this hotel as my number one choice to stay when im back at the Dominican Republic

The Wi-Fi did not work in my room and was only accessible in the lobby. 3. Fresh towels were unavailable if I missed the housekeeping team. 4. My room’s front door stopped locking after the first day, which was a serious safety concern. I had to place a chair against the door as a precaution. 5. While the staff was generally polite and willing to help, service was very slow. For example, when my toilet stopped flushing, it took about 40 minutes before assistance arrived.

They were under construction in the layout of the lights in the room were uncomfortable. You couldn’t turn the lights off and have the fan running so if you turned off the lights, the fan would turn off, which makes no sense. Why wouldn’t the fan be able to run independently from the lights on the other side of the room that was a bother.

I have dtsyed at RIG properties before, including this location. This was the wordt hotel experience. Not only is there a huge construction project going on, my room had no towels and no toilet paper. Repeated requests finally solved the problem. The remote for the AC was missing and the room was cold at night but couldn't be turned off without the remote. I won't go back

We had an ocean view room during our stay which was amazing! The city was beautiful, the staff was attentive and friendly and worked hard to ensure all our needs were met by truly going above and beyond to arrange transportation to the hotel! The room and bathroom were spotless. The only thing I wish they had were small washcloths for your face or body, but that may be an American culture thing. I know they have a few projects in progress for the rooftop lounge/bar area so once those are finished this hotel will be even more of a catch! Thank you to everyone who contributed to our stay! I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to stay here 10/10!!
