Charlie Hotel

Tired bed and breakfast hotel. Not really that convenient for transport. Breakfast was nice and freshly cooked.

I stayed for two nights and both of them there was a strong smell of weed. It was hard to sleep as you can hear everything going on outside the room, including doors, people playing loud music in the other rooms, people walking upstairs. The room I stayed in was in the basement and one evening a door to the street was left open which made me feel very unsafe.

This hotel was ideally situated for some activities I had to attend in this area of London but unfortunately it wasn't a very comfortable stay. Friendly staff and a decent spread of breakfast options helped get the mornings off to a strong start, but the room didn't seem to have been cleaned or ventilated properly before my arrival. There was a musky smell, cobwebs by the window and discarded contact lenses from a previous guest on the side table. I requested these be cleared away after the first night, but they weren't which was very disappointing.

No bacon or sausages for breakfast as they "Hadn't had a delivery." So baaically toast, beans, which I have an allegy to, and mushrooms for breakfast. Street was quiet, other hotel guests less so. Room small but adequate for one night

Pretty average hotel but did the job for just a one night stay

Hôtel bien positionné et proche du métro. Quartier calme. L'hôtel manque globalement de tenue et le ménage dans les parties communes est inexistant. Le petit-déjeuner est correct et le personnel dédié est sympathique. Le parking est un bon avantage.

Close to the Dome venue which was perfect

Overall et fint sted til pengene, charmerende gammelt townhouse, lidt slidt inventar men funktionelt. Staff var super søde, betjening var helt vildt god og de var alle super venlige og rare.

The room was basic, not really nice but i was there only one night so was fine for that. Really lovely area, but not so close to public transport.

L’hôtel était très propre, le lit confortable, le petit déjeuner très correct et le personnel très accueillant Effectivement ce n’est pas un hôtel de luxe, mais pour ce prix je ne m’attendais pas à grand chose et tout s’est très bien passé

For the price paid (£96) I am very disappointed. I could hear everything upstairs and next to me (people just walking or the person in the room next to me snoring). There was mould in the bathroom which is problematic for everyone but even more for someone with asthma. The breakfast was very basic and there was no dairy free milk available.

I didn't actually get to stay at the hotel because you didn't send confirmation of my booking to them. Therefore leaving me stranded in London with no hotel to stay in. I will be seeking, at the very LEAST, a full refund for the situation and anxiety that you put me in.

Good location. Quiet. Good value for money. Shower in room 6 doesn’t work & no plug for the sink.

Door had to be locked to stay shut, carpet loose, badly fitted and trip hazard, no blackout blinds so woke by bright sunlight at 4am and noisy helicopters

This is a very run down, spotlessly clean property. The property looks a mess from the outside. My room was number 14 on the ground floor. Two single beds with very clean sheets. The bathroom is no bigger than a single wardrobe. Major damp and mould by the window. 24/7 dripping sound. Need to keep the curtains closed as just outside the window is a smoking area. Excellent breakfast.

Very clean and a very good breakfast Lovely owners who were very hospitable. Transport into London was close by

Basic room , great breakfast

Safe area, free parking. Near tube, good breakfast. Yes, very small rooms and beds. Tired decor. But for what you pay for its a good base for heading out in that area.

A nice stay for one night in London and very affordable. The shower only went freezing cold or boiling hot so that was a shame but other than that we had no issues. The triple room was large but the bathroom was tiny. The staff were very friendly and the area was quiet and seemed safe.
