Heard some very bad reviews on this hotel (kings cross inn)but when we got there receptionist was great ,it is a little worn in places but it was clean serviced every day and location great for walking into the city , all in all had a great time.

Overall, the property did not live up to the description or photos. Room and furniture were in poor condition, floors needed repair, soap dish was coming off wall, and cable tv had very limited channels. Staff seemed bored. In contrast, I spent one day at Crestfield hotel next door, and it was much nicer, with much friendlier, helpful staff and much cleaner room.

Worst hotel i have ever stayed in. Windows were full of condensation and mould which could not be opened. Glas had a large crack in it and the window frame was also cracked. Curtains did not close and had come off at the top. Bathroom tiles were smashed.

Ich finde das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen und sehr hellhörig. Laute Geräusche von außen (wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Hauptstraße) und innen. Wir konnten unser Zimmer freundlicherweise tauschen, dann hatten wir nur noch die Geräusche Kulisse der anderen Gäste! Die Zimmer sind klein für 3 Personen, aber für ein Städtetrip okay. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen. Man kommt mit allen Transportmitteln schnell in die City etc.

Hotel was an older building and needed some minor repairs, but the room was clean and vermin free. It has an elevator, individual A/C & heating units that are modern & actually work. Fast food, transportation, and restaurants just steps away. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Main surprise is the craftsmanship of the room where flooring and wall have gaps and bathroom was amateurishly upgraded. TV remote non operational. Very small room as well. Wouldn’t imagine such construction or upgrade would pass city inspection. That said didn’t experience any trouble and the location is right across King Cross station so convenient if you need access to that.

The hotel receptionist was rude and not at all welcoming. The hotel was run down, chrome fittings in my bathroom were rusted and the bathroom was dirty and just smelt of bleach throughout the 2days that I had the room. In the communal areas there were dirty towels, which were a fire hazard and just unbelievably dirty. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody, it was more like a drug den or old school King’s Cross squat from the 1980’s

Basic hotel, clean but no luxuries. Couldn’t get hot water in the shower, son managed it after I gave up.
Great location, could get any nearer to St Pancras for Eurostar.

Checked in guy wasn't nice got to room couldn't shut door eventually had to lift it up tried to tell man at reception said he would fix it didn't really but nothing was taken only there to sleep use the shower out all day brilliant time in London probably won't be back in the hotel never tried the food so dont know what the breakfast would have been l8ke
