Radisson Blu Hotel, Addis Ababa

It been the only preferred hotel to stay in Addiss Ababa for its courtesy and comfortability. The hotel is located strategically and easy to get transportation arrangement.

Incredibly friendly staff throughout, modern hotel with a large room and modern public areas. Food in restaurant was very good too.

Perfect hotel in Addis if you want to stay somewhere that the entire staff team is professional, friendly, attentive and truly accommodating. The location of this hotel is perfect. It is close to all the major attractions.

I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to the entire team at Radisson Blu. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and showed great respect to all the guests. I am especially grateful for the way you made my wife’s birthday unforgettable. With just a simple text message requesting a birthday-themed room decor, the team went above and beyond. They transformed the room into a beautiful celebration, complete with a customized birthday cake, a heartfelt birthday wish, and a delightful arrangement of fresh fruits. You truly made her day extra special, and we’re deeply thankful for the comfort and joy you provided.

I enjoyed my stay at the Radisson, and will certainly return when I return to Addis Ababa for work. In particular, I highly rate the restaurant/cafe/room service and the spa and gym. I returned to the spa three times in a short stay! Very professional service. My only disappointment was around the shuttle service. First, my booking on Expedia very clearly states that it includes “free round trip shuttle” between the hotel and airport. After booking, and when I was booking the shuttle, I was told that it cost 700 ETB each way. I pointed out the contradiction with my booking, but accepted it since I was arriving late. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I waited 20-30 minutes in the cold next to the bus. When I finally got to the hotel, I definitely paid the front desk 800 ETB in cash. I believe that I received a receipt but didn’t keep it. So I was surprised to see the cost of the shuttle on my bill at the end of my stay. So I had to pay twice for a service that was supposed to be free. Unfortunately, due to other challenges with the payment at the end of my stay, I missed the return shuttle. I was able to order a taxi through an app for 200 ETB. Definitely an option to consider next time. Otherwise, I highly rate my stay and will return. I hope these issues can be addressed next time.

Our stay at the Radisson Blu was lovely. Rooms are clean, crisp, comfortable and inviting. Everything we needed was provided. Housekeeping did a superb job with cleaning. The beds were comfortable and amenities needed were provided. The breakfast buffet was superb, one of the best of variety! All staff we interacted with - front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, spa - were helpful and friendly. Lastly, we felt safe at all times.

The hotel staff are incredible - especially the guys working in the business lounge. They greeted me by name, learned what I liked and would always ask if I wanted it, and spent their time telling me more about the culture and history of Ethiopia. Highly highly recommend this hotel!
