Veldig koselig hotell. Litt slitent, men hyggelige folk som jobbet der, god frokost og fine bad og senger.

Oli ihana saada aamupala huoneeseen (lisähinnasta) ja jäsenenä saimme vielä late check outin ilmaiseksi klo.14 saakka niin ei ollut kiire mihinkään. Ihana hotelli ja siisti huone.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, arranging 2 rooms next to each other, one with a cot for a baby. The rooms were spacious and had an armchair and couch. The breakfast buffet, whilst not the most extensive, was more than sufficient. One downside is that it isn't the most accessible hotel I've stayed in. We had a baby in a pram and found it wasn't easy to get around, although on the last day of our stay we did find a lift the wasn't very well sign posted but would have made it easier to get to the breakfast room. I'd definitely recommend the hotel but be aware of accessibility issues.

The hotel Haven is a lovely hotel at the waterfront of Helsinki, and near the market. I would highly recommend the food hall right across the street in the old historic building, however, it is only open at lunchtime and not for dinner. I had both a Superior and a Grande Deluxe room. The grand deluxe room is bigger and has an extra sofa. It also has a beautiful bathroom with a large shower and no bathtub. If you prefer a bath tub, as I do, then you may be better off in the less expensive superior room. The only other significant difference with the two rooms is that you have an Espresso maker in the grand deluxe, and only a kettle in the superior room. I will add that my grand deluxe room was quieter because it faced the courtyard whereas the superior room was facing the street and I could hear some noise from the trucks going by.. I was at the hotel for two nights on a group tour and breakfast was included. The breakfast was very nice. I also came a day early before my group tour, and that is why I had the grand deluxe room. I checked in on a Saturday night and the hotel Haven website indicates that you are entitled to Sunday brunch if you stay over on a Saturday night. However, they would not honour that and said that because I booked through Expedia, I would have to pay extra for the brunch. This did not seem fair to me and I think that it should be clearly stated both on there I Prefer website and on the Expedia website.

Fiquei hospedado durante alguns dias nesse hotel e a experiencia, em geral, foi boa. Possui boa estrutura, staff muito gentil, quarto espaçoso, boa roupa de cama. Café da manhã num prédio anexo muito bonito, com boas opções. Unico ponto desagradável foi receber mensagens em ocasioes diferenças sobre cobrança de consumo no quarto que não fiz. Sugiro pedir na recepcao a lista de todos os itens do frigobar e checar se tudo está presente para não passar por esta chateação.

Staff were very pleasant and nice. The area location was also very convenient. The room was a bit outdated and looks a bit more rundown than in pictures.

Hotel Haven is a cosy and stylish place to stay. It is set in a beautiful historical building that adds a unique charm to the whole experience. Very nicely decorated, lots of lovely sitting spots in the lobby. It’s in a prime spot by the harbour, and the restaurant overlooks the waterfront and some historical buildings too. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, perfect for unwinding after a day out. The rooms are really spacious and comfy with a nice mix of classic and modern design. One of the highlights is the buffet breakfast served with plenty of options including healthy foods, fresh smoothies, and local pastries.

Hotel Haven is THE place to stay in Helsinki, bar none. I have had the privilege of staying in five star hotels around the world, and this experience blew me away. The location, breakfast options (for vegans- an entire menu!), beautiful rooms, and fabulous atmosphere, HH exemplifies first class service and style. Centrally located, one is steps away from the tram station to travel the city, and short distance from the main railway station. Close to major attractions, shops, restaurants and the harbor. A perfect place to stay in the heart of the city, and I cannot wait to return. Thank you HH for making our experience in Finland that much more memorable! Kippis!
