Omena Hotel Yrjonkatu

The perfect budget option in downtown Helsinki. The room was a good size, coffee and a refrigerator were very welcome. The beds were comfortable and it was nice having two luggage racks. Our only complaint was that the windows don’t open for fresh air and the room was stuffy and too warm overnight, in spite of it being quite cold outside. Rooms should have a fan or at least some way to control the temperature.

Ottima la posizione: centralissima. L'Hotel non ha reception: in caso di problemi, ci sono dei numeri di emergenza; ma, sarebbe meglio avere una persona sul posto a cui rivolgersi. La camera, abbastanza pulita, aveva tutti i requisiti dichiarati sul sito. Un po' troppo costosa, considerando che non si tratta di un albergo vero e proprio.

Omena hotel was very central and overall it was a nice stay. The code didn't always work the first time it was put in (even though the light was green) and there were a few stains in the bathroom. But overall the stay was exactly what you need in a hotel and their communication was great throughout

Siisteydessä ei moitittavaa. Ulkoovi koodi voisi olla enmpi suojassa,nyt ravintolan asiakkaat on osittain näppäimistön edessä,huonosti pystyy suojaamaan kun numeroita näppäilee.

Hyvä sijainti, siisteys hyvä. Kaikki sujui niinkuin pitääkin.

Buena opción por cuestiones económicas. Está muy limpio y bien situado. Es muy sobrio, pero tiene microondas y kettle con sobres de café, té y leche en polvo. Una pena que no tenga ningún artículo de aseo, ni siquiera jabón de manos. Con eso ya sería estupendo.

Very centrally located hotel. Walking distance to wverthing. Clean rooms. Self check-in with no reception.

Super location, and if you know what you are booking, you can hardly be disappointed for the price. Very central location with great connections to other parts of the city, and many restaurants and sights around the corner. Fully automated check-in/out, so don’t expect a reception or daily cleaning. Perfect for the budget traveler who needs a decent place to crash, but will spend most of their time out and about. It was quiet, we never heard any other guests, and were not bothered by the late night karaoke bar/pool hall just downstairs - so the walls and windows seem sturdy. There was even a microwave and a mini fridge, letting us have a heated snack. The only annoyance really was that the motion sensor in the bathroom didn’t cover the shower, so you’d regularly have to pause your showering to wave your arms a bit to get the lights back on - no biggie though. Would recommend!

It’s fine if you are spending most of the day outside and use the hotel for sleeping only! It really needs renovation, good location tho!

Hyvä kokemus , ikkunan aukaisu olisi ollut plussaa. Välillä huono/liian kuuma sisäilma.

Behändigt, enkelt, bekväm säng. Tv funkade inte och badrum och rummet var smutsigt.

Easy citycentre bolt hole for simple overnight.

Booking on hotels.com did not generate check in instructions and door passcode email necessitating a 15-20 minute phone call with hotel’s customer service when we arrived at the hotel. Once that issue was resolved we were very pleased with the hotel.

Yöpyminen oli muuten mukava, mutta osa valoista ei saanut sammutettua ja toisaalta osaa valoista ei saanut päälle ollenkaan. Häiritsi yöunta.

Hyvä hotelli loistavalla sijainnilla.
