Room Clean Size ok Wardroom could not have been smaller. Staff all were very good and helpful when needed Location wow could not have been more central to centre of Lille. Would have been better with a bar downstairs Roof top bar brilliant 55 euro for a bottle of wine very good but over priced still had two bottles 3-4 minutes from Rihour metro We normally stay at the Barriere 5 star hotel Lille but wanted to be closer to the centre of Lille. We still had a brilliant stay. Will stop again Thanks David

Location is perfect -just center of the city centre- so close to the restaurants and shopping areas. Nice breakfast fair enough and also large rooms. But the AC in the room was not working, we got really cold for a few hours then went to reception and asked for some extra heather and they gave an electric one which was so powerful. So the problem is soved by this way but do we really need this?

Catastrophique, télé qui ne fonctionne pas, jours sous la fenêtre de la chambre laissant passé l’aire froid et le bruit de la grande place, des cheveux et poile dans la salle de bain. Aucune solution propose par l’hôtel j’ai dû demander moi même au bout de 1h sans nouvelle pour éventuellement changer de chambre, proposition d’une chambre bien en dessous du standing de celle réservé au à un surclassement ou geste commercial. Très loins d’un niveau d’un 4 étoiles

Il faisait super froid dans la chambre d’hôtel , la couette était super fine , même en aillant une autre couette que nous avons eu à notre disposition le froid était toujours présent même en allumant le petit chauffage, la télé deconner , et on entendait tout ce qu’il se passer que ce soit dehors ou dans l’hôtel donc pas d’intimité

The room was lovely with its balcony overlooking the town square. The staff were amazing , so courteous and welcoming. Breakfast was a buffet in the dining room which was presented lovely. Hotel very elegant. There is no restaurant at hotel for lunch or dinner. The only bar is the roof top bar which is not open every day. We were given a voucher with this booking for a free drink each ( there were 8 of us ) but couldnt use the voucher because the bar wasn’t open.

I am perplexed by the high ratings this hotel has received. While it is in a good location with close proximity to restaurants and the train station, it is in need of an update. Specifically, the flooring in the hallways is very worn, damaged and dirty. There are bleach spots and others that are patched and dirty. The first room we were assigned smelled like cigarette smoke covered with fragrance. We asked for another room which was better however the TV didn’t work (full disclosure, we didn’t ask the staff for assistance to fix it). The bathroom was nice except the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall and the door knob was falling off the door so it wouldn’t latch. The rooftop bar, which we were looking forward to seeing, was closed for two days (the entire time we were there). We walked up to it, it was just closed for no apparent reason. Overall, it was a disappointing stay. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent breakfast, nice reception area. Rooftop bar is superb. Room was a little tired and dark, en-suite new and spotless. Not much wardrobe storage but overall room was fine. Location is perfect for the city centre. A great stay would definitely stay again.

The hotel is ideally located overlooking Lille’s Grand place (Place General de Gaulle). Staff are friendly and helpful. The sleeping arrangement consisted of two beds pushed together plus one sofa bed. Both were comfortable. Negative points: dirty marks on the duvet cover, had to request a replacement as no alternative room available. Duvet cover changed. Main bugbear was the toilet. It was located in a cupboard/boxed in alcove! No facility to wash or even disinfect hands. Hand washing had to be done in the bathroom which involved opening and closing three doors. Not hygienic. Spacious room but definitely needs to be rearranged. Breakfast reasonable but not sure it was worth €18.
