Great hotel. Clean. My room was a good size. I walked everywhere from it.

The reception took our passports upon arrival and without asking for permission, scanned the barcodes of our passports in a machine identical to "the passport reading/scanning" that only police or immigration officers use in international airports or police stations. We told the reception that it is highly innapropriate and illegal for a hotel to extract that way information from the passport and save it in their basic computer system (and without permission). The reception advised us that they will refuse to give us our room keys although we had prepaid in advance with expedia (and came by plane from another country. The reception told us that we have paid expedia, and we had not paid the hotel. We were shocked. I insited to talk to the manager, but the manager refused to come out of the office to explain why we were threatened to not get our room keys. After insisting , we got the keys. They made us sign a form that got automatically filled in with our personal information during barcode passport scanning. According to reception, if we refused to sign it, then we were not going to get the room keys. İt was extremely shocking and rediculous. Upon check out, the reception had a strange procedure " the hotel verifies online if the client is safe to check out and allowed to leave the hotel." İt sounded as we were not in EU, but we were in the eastern block before 90's. The rooms were very clean and spacious, the breakfast was very good and it has a great location.

This hotel is an excellent value and perfect location to walk anywhere in Budapest. The airport bus also drops off close by. The room was quiet and clean and I would highly recommend!

Very rude receptionist who clearly didn’t like her job, I made a complaint to the manger and she responded well so I have given them 2 stars so hopefully the receptionist will be given re-training.

Super schöne Unterkunft mit perfekter Lage!

I would have given it a 3 star over all but Sayed one of staff members helped us so well that it changed my mind. Pickup and drop off in front of the hotel is impossible during rush hours. There is no designated area. Very limited staff. Only one person every 12 hrs or so I. The front desk. Rooms are not properly checked. Multiple items were broken.

Sentral og praktisk beliggenhet i en noe bråkete gate. Nærhet til mange severdigheter. Fint rom, men ikke helt nylig oppusset. God deal til prisen

Aracımız ile hotel yerine vardığımızda resepsiyon daki görevli arkadaşlar park yeri konusunda yardımcı olmadılar. Kahvaltısı berbat.. Bursa kalmayı düşünen Türk vatandaşları için yazıyorum. Aynı ücrete daha kaliteli hizmet alabileceğiniz bir sürü hotel bulanilirsiniz

It's a good place for the price, nice staff.

Nice hotel.on a busy street but very quiet. Centrally located near shops and restaurants. Perfect location for all the sights of Budapest.

During my stay I had trouble checking in. I then stayed another week and the hotel couldn’t even find my booking and finally figured out someone had canceled it. They ended up creating a new booking and tried to compensate me for my time with a room upgrade. I thought that was the end of things as I paid for my stay at the hotel and appreciated their gesture. Now, 3 weeks later, I saw that Hotels.com had charged my credit card after I already paid. When I reached out they said the hotel had put me as a no-show. Now I have been double charged and have to go through the mess of cleaning it up while dealing with a company (hotels.com) that doesn’t have a customer service number. On the last update they said that they can’t get a hold of the hotel so to wait 3 days for them to get back. I would NOT recommend this hotel if you are booking through hotels.com, it has been horrible. Also hotels.com customer service has been one of the worst and I am going to start looking at other options or just book directly with a larger hotel chain so I don’t have to deal with this in the future.

The hotel is in a convenient location, which made getting around easy. However, the rooms and overall condition of the hotel were not ideal. The bathrooms, in particular, are quite dated and in need of renovation. With some updates, this could be a much better stay.

Es la segunda vez que me hospedo en este hotel porque es muy fácil moverse desde allí a todas las zonas de Budapest desde el metro Astoria. La zona es muy tranquila , el entorno me gusta y los servicios del hotel, el personal , el desayuno y que muchas de las instrucciones están en español es de agradecer! Seguro volveré !
