The room was spotless, the staff were always helpful and on point. Fresh water, tea and coffee each day. A large, quiet room. And a very quaint elevator, retaining the original feel of the building. Breakfast was included for us and it was simple but certainly adequate. Fruit, cereal, toast, muffins, omlettes and a good selection of Indian favourites. We ate dinner in the restaurant a few times. The food was always tasty, although not always the same as "home", but hey, it's India. If I wanted things to be the same, what's the point of travelling?

Perfect location to visit south of Mumbai. A soft renovation of rooms could enhance the experience. Staff at restaurant very friendly. Breakfast basic. Price per night in the upper range, but perhaps typical for Mumbai. Other places in India seem to have lower prices.

The staff were excellent. Very helpful and professional. The rooms and general hotel ambiance were very English colonial. The location was very close to the cruise terminal. The room floor was not clean. The bottom of my feet were dirty from walking barefoot in the room.

Wonderful staff who helped when my elderly father was sick. We stayed in a large family room, watch feels like a mini apartment, ideal for a family of three or four.. This is our second stay here.. 古びてはいますが、客室はとても清潔で気持ちが良かったです。テレビの音量が下げられず困りましたが、テレビを見に来たわけではありませんので良しとします。シャワーは勢い良くお湯もちゃんと熱いです。窓からは通りの様子がよく見えて、旅情がありました。 ホテルの外観はコロニアル調で素敵ですが、内部の大きな吹き抜けも特徴的で素晴らしいです。スタッフは皆さんとても優しく、英語の下手な私の希望を聞いてくれました。過剰なサービスはせず、良い意味で放っておいてくれますが、こちらがお願いすれば迅速に動いてくれます。このホテルへ泊まりたくなって、またムンバイへ来てしまいそうです。ありがとうございました。

Firstly: I paid for an Indian friends room who checked in day after, but when she checked in they made her pay the room one more time, which was really embarrassing since I had promised her to pay for the room. Secondly: I fell sick and posted don't disturb sign on door, the staff wake me up 2 times, knocking and ringing doorbell.

Firstly, double charged room for my friend, really embarrassing. I paid her room day before. Secondly, did not respect "don't disturb sign" on door, knocking and ringing on door waking me up, really annoying when sleeping while sick. No wine, this is "hard liquor" according to hotel.

The bed was comfortable, although the room only offered a small, frosted window, v so I could only tell if it was day or night and one what the weather was like if I heard pouring rain. The hotel is not bad, but the rooms need renovation. The elevator only goes up to the 3rd floor and you have to walk up to the 4th floor with your luggage. The rooms are clean but they need a total change of everything inside. I wouldn't stay here again if I had another choice. The breakfast is monotonous - the same every day. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay in Mumbai, especially at a historic property located in the Fort area. Everything was great overall, but I was quite surprised to find that the hotel didn’t have any electricity backup—that's definitely something to consider. Otherwise, everything was good. The hotel is not bad, but the rooms need renovation. The elevator only goes up to the 3rd floor and you have to walk up to the 4th floor with your luggage. The rooms are clean but they need a total change of everything inside. I wouldn't stay here again if I had another choice. The breakfast is monotonous - the same every day. The staff was friendly and helpful.
