Amazing property and an exceptional experience. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well looked after throughout our stay. The hotel offers an impressive range of dining and beverage options, and it continues to uphold the renowned Taj standard of hospitality. Having lived in six countries and traveled to more than 60 countries, staying at many of the world’s finest luxury hotels, I can confidently say that Taj Palace remains one of my favorite hotels globally and my preferred choice whenever I visit Delhi for business or leisure. The warmth, service culture, and attention to detail are truly world-class. My only observation during this stay was that the property seemed noticeably busier than usual, with a large number of visitors coming in for business meetings and spending time in the public areas. While this reflects the hotel’s popularity and reputation, it occasionally made some guest areas feel more crowded than expected. Overall, an outstanding stay and a property I would highly recommend.

I’m not used to leaving a poor review, but our stay at the Taj palace was a hide disappointment. It started with Rakesh on the concierge desk being rude. I was talking to him, the phone went- he just stopped talking to me mid sentence and answered the phone. Didn’t even say excuse me or give me a moment. Our checkin was good. The staff were really helpful and polite. The room was ok, but it was tired. The carpet was worn down and the chairs had cracks and the leather was missing. Bed was comfortable and Aircon was good. But you could hear the neighbours (maybe just bad neighbours) and could also hear the trains. My tip would be book a pool view room. We went for dinner in the Capital Kitchen restaurant. We sat outside as it was fairly cool. We waited 10 minutes for some cutlery, 30 minutes for drinks and the naan breads arrived 10 minutes after we had finished our main. There was also a chicken dish that had been labelled as fish. The food was fairly bland and average. The pool and spa were great. But we just felt hugely disappointed overall. We had a much better stay at the start of the holiday at the Connaught, which is also part of the Taj groups. If anyone from Taj reads this you need to sort your staffing out. The stay wasn’t worth the money.

My overall experience was outstanding. The room was clean and equipped with everything I needed. A quick tip for international travelers: if you are bringing your own hair styling tools, please note that there are no electrical outlets in the bathroom; however, a hairdryer is already provided. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. While the spa and wellness amenities felt a bit overpriced, the services were excellent and highly convenient if you want to enjoy everything under one roof. The food was fantastic, and the breakfast spread was truly amazing. Taj offers convenient pickup and drop-off services, but I highly recommend coordinating these with them in advance. I am incredibly happy with my stay here!

My stay at the Taj Palace was absolutely exceptional. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a wonderful atmosphere, outstanding facilities, and excellent food. However, what truly made this stay unforgettable was the staff. Mohika, the restaurant manager, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She always stopped by to check on us, took the time to speak with us, and made us feel genuinely valued throughout our stay. Her kindness and professionalism were remarkable. Gaurav also provided impeccable service. He consistently ensured that all of our needs were met and delivered hospitality at the highest level. His attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction were truly impressive. The entire team was wonderful, but Mohika and Gaurav made our experience extra special. Because of them, this was one of the best hotel stays I have ever had. I would gladly return and highly recommend the Taj Palace to anyone visiting New Delhi.

While the spa and wellness amenities felt a bit overpriced, the services were excellent and highly convenient if you want to enjoy everything under one roof. The food was fantastic, and the breakfast spread was truly amazing. Taj offers convenient pickup and drop-off services, but I highly recommend coordinating these with them in advance. I am incredibly happy with my stay here!

My stay at the Taj Palace was absolutely exceptional. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a wonderful atmosphere, outstanding facilities, and excellent food. However, what truly made this stay unforgettable was the staff. Mohika, the restaurant manager, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She always stopped by to check on us, took the time to speak with us, and made us feel genuinely valued throughout our stay. Her kindness and professionalism were remarkable. Gaurav also provided impeccable service. He consistently ensured that all of our needs were met and delivered hospitality at the highest level. His attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction were truly impressive. The entire team was wonderful, but Mohika and Gaurav made our experience extra special. Because of them, this was one of the best hotel stays I have ever had. I would gladly return and highly recommend the Taj Palace to anyone visiting New Delhi.
