Direct Payment for Reservation was very complicated and difficult. So I made resetvation through (Expedia.com) which has the easy payment system.

Executive Lounge was renovated. Service at Executive Lounge was one of the best.

Service and facility are one of the best.

Taj Palace Hotel has the best hospitality system. Hotel Facility, Service and Food are one of the best in the world. Impressive!! Especially the 4 Big Glass Bottles of Water for drinking everyday is provided free of charge everyday. (This is excellent idea!!)

It was a typical hotel experience, nothing special, as you would expect from a Taj hotel.

It is beyond me how this hotel can have such high ratings. It is dated, moldy, smelly, with service that leaves much to be desired for not to mention a 40 minute wait for a table at breakfast that was included in our rate. There is little that is 5 star about this property other than its size. It is old and dated inside and out, has mold on the walls as in the attached images and enough potpourri in the lobby to make your head spin, which could be on account of the mod. We got sat at a filthy table at the bar which was cleaned just when our drinks arrived and essentially everywhere you look - everything is subpar. Dinner at their Asian restaurant was not bad as far as food quality, but again, service left much to be desired for. Our first full day the property we descended for breakfast to learn there is a 40 minute wait and some 25 parties head of us, all in uproars as people had flights, tours and meetings to attend to. The wait was not even worth it as breakfast was nothing to write home about. This was unlike anything we experienced before at Taj properties and a grave disappointment. We hope the management can take necessary steps to one day have this property live up to the brand's reputation. Until then, if you value cleanliness, service and a a five star experience - stay away from this place.

Booked this hotel through Expedia and overall had a good stay at Taj Palace. The staff throughout the hotel were very welcoming and polite. The property is clean, well maintained and updated as expected from a Taj hotel. The only disappointing experience was during breakfast at Capital Kitchen. The food was fine, but the service was not well organized. I ordered an omelette which never arrived even after asking twice. Same with the cappuccino, I had to remind them again. This was not expected from a hotel of Taj standard. Other than that, the stay was comfortable and pleasant.

Breakfast service was quick and well selection of food. Cocktail offering were nicely curated.

Living off the past. Nothing new since we stayed 10 years ago. Food prices are very high for nothing particularly special.

Unfortunately, every single time I am at this facility they don’t fail to disappoint. I try hard to avoid this hotel but sometimes I am forced to stay here. In this recent trip they give me a bad room first to only correct it with a better room, and there was a chaotic breakfast hosting with a wait time of over 30 minutes, which happens every single time at this hotel. I left without having breakfast and such a start ruins your day! While the junior staff try to be helpful (though their manners needs significant improvement) the worst part are the managers who stand at the lobby offering empty words but do very little to help. The senior the manager at this hotel the useless they are. I am sorry to be harsh but I really hope someone at a senior level pay attention and improve. I am surely not coming back here after today!
