I booked a riverside villa, and the view was not as good as i had expected as there are a lot of small trees planted acting as a fence and we could not see outside to the jungle.
The room itself is decent, some of the items are not well maintained, such as the sunbeds looked worn and dirty, the sofa in the bale was really damp. The room somehow smells weird, the wood cabinets smelt like it hasn't been cleaned in a while; the faucet is wobbly.
They also didn't provide mats and the floor uses little cream-coloured ceramic tiles that would look really dirty when you come out of the pool and into the room or the bale

restaurant areas is quite dirty with lots mosquito around when dining in. limited breakfast selection, from the first day till last day everyday Indian foods which not much selection for other nationalities. staff are very welcoming and helpful.

From the service to the truly top notch, super friendly personnel to the gorgeous facilities to the beautiful room and incredible views, the ENTIRE experience is truly 5 star - and I’m a picky American who does NOT settle. The hotel is very nice, and having a shuttle to Ubud center is also nice. The food is delicious but the portions are small. The open buffet breakfast is also nice. You can eat well and get by all day.
The dinners and the bar are delicious but the portions are small and a bit more expensive than outside.
The pool, hotel room, and especially the staff are very good. Everyone is smiling.
The spa is expensive compared to outside, the staff is probably professional but I was not very satisfied and it was expensive.
In general, it is one of the quality places you can find in the area.

We recently stayed at Lokha Ubud for a week and really enjoyed our time. The hotel is in a quiet, convenient location with a complimentary shuttle into town, and there are cafes, shops, and a spa within walking distance. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, with Wulan standing out for making our stay extra special. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options that changed regularly, and we also enjoyed the afternoon tea and the BBQ dinner with traditional Balinese dances. While the rooms were clean and comfortable, they could use a deeper clean, and the poolside lounge chair cushions and towels could be refreshed as they appeared stained. Overall, we had a great stay!

The Lokha was a hidden gem. My wife and I can to Ubud for our honeymoon and we are glad we stayed at this resort. Rooms were very clean and the staff were super friendly. The resort has a lot of amenities like a spa, restaurant, and small gym. The resort offers shuttles to Ubud city center and taxis to surrounding locations. Staff went above and beyond to take care of us. One of the best resorts in Ubud.

Wir waren bereits das 2. mal in diesem Hotel und waren wiederholt sehr zufrieden. Die Lage ist wirklich gut. Auch wenn man einen sehr steilen Berg zur Straße hoch laufen muss, ist Ubud fussläufig über einen extra Fußweg sehr gut erreichbar. Auch sind in der Nähe des Hotels viele Restaurants in denen man gut und günstig essen kann.

Just want to say, it was a great stay at this property, location was good. Spa was ok. Gym not so great.
Staff were great and very friendly. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning the villa.
Few negatives, mosquitoes were a problem, feel like burinh stucks or spray could be used when turn down service happens. (Had this in other hotels/villas similar) got bitten alot.
Breakfast is too big and not great. We eat out everyday. There is so much potential for this place just needs to tweek a few little things.
Other than that we enjoyed our stay, i would recommend the hotel. And would stay again if these things were implemented
