Spice Hotel Milano

Clean clear sustainable

The Spice Hotel Milano is in a perfect location next to Milano Centrale (train and metro station that will take you almost anywhere). However, the hotel is incapable of regulating the temperature in its rooms. I stayed during February 2026 (outside temperature at night 2 degrees Celsius or 35 degrees Farenheit). The thermostat inside stated it was 27.5 degrees Celsius (81.5 degrees Farenheit). Upon telling the front desk, they claimed it could not be adjusted but the "heat could be turned off". That never happened. This made sleeping in the room almost impossible. This was too bad as the room had a very comfortable bed, large TV, and spacious bathroom shower. The front desk also did not make any effort to welcome me, add value to my trip, bring any positivity to my stay, or wish me well as I left (lack of hospitality).

O hotel parece mais um albergue do que propriamente um hotel. O quarto é extremamente pequeno e muito quente, o que deixou a estadia bastante desconfortável. As fotos do site não condizem com a realidade e acabam sendo enganosas. Confesso que me surpreendi negativamente. Durante a noite, achei a região muito perigosa, o que também comprometeu a experiência. Apesar de ser muito próximo à estação central, não vi vantagem nisso, especialmente por conta da sensação de insegurança.

The hotel is a great location, close to the Milan main central train station and restaurants and metro. The room is small (typical European room) and basic (I did miss a coffee maker). But, it was clean, the staff was friendly, helpful and overall, a good hotel.

Hôtel prétendument accessible fauteuil roulant, hôtel contacté avant la réservation pour confirmer l’accessibilité, selon eux tout était accessible. Ça commence par impossible de rentrer dans l’hôtel en toute indépendance, énorme marche à l’entrée, sonnette non accessible obliger de frapper à la vitre pour que la réception apporte une rampe, inclinaison tellement forte qu’on est obligé de me pousser. Chambre non accessible, lit beaucoup trop grand + de 2m de large, impossible de passer avec le fauteuil sur les côtés du lit, impossible d’accéder à la penderie, ceintres beaucoup trop hauts. Pas de siège PMR dans la douche juste une barre d’appui. On se douche assis par terre? Obliger de demander une chambre plus spacieuse. On m’a facturé la différence de prix +25€/jr en le disant que comme je restait 11 nuits c’était prix discount… j’ai demandé à voir la direction qui n’a jamais daigné me recevoir ou s’expliquer. Chambre surchauffée + de 25 26 degrés, obligé de laisser la fenêtre ouverte en permanence. Tous les matins remontée d’odeurs d’égouts par les toilettes. Rue très bruyante. Bref très mauvais séjour, hôtel à fuir.

Great location for train station and Metro and a couple of minutes walk from the airport shuttle bus stops at the side of the railway station. The staff were friendly, especially the young lady on the front desk who was extremely helpful. Also looked after my case on the final day until I had to leave Milan. It is slightly noisy at night, but that should be expected from a central city hotel.

Localização que é ao lado do terminal central de Milão, e isso com mala foi essencial. Os quartos são novos e bem arrumados.

Excelente ubicación y atención del personal

WiFi needs improving, guest heating controls (slept with doors open so was super noisy and didn't sleep at all well), despite cleaning very dusty (plus hairs left around the place), space and storage to actually put stuff, more than 1 pillow as they're flat flat

Friendly reception staff, spacious room, though I had a little noise from the street. Hotel is very close to Milano Centrale (less than 5 minutes walk!)

Room is decent-spaced, considering it's located in central Milan. Clean and convenient. Service staff is very nice and helpful.

Very clean room. Cool modernist style urban chic.
