Hotel De Mallemoolen

Overall, very pleasant stay at this property. The staff was very friendly and professional. The room I stood in was pleasant, definitely looked and felt aged. Breakfast is continental enough to get you to start your day. Overall, I had a good time and I would stay there again.

The staff was great and helpful. They have a fridge behind the desk and stored some of my items for me. They were always friendly. The housekeeper came into my room every day and made my bed and gave me fresh towels. There's no do not disturb signs to decline this. He actually threw away a couple of my things that I wanted to keep but he was very accommodating and also got me a fan that I requested. I thought because of the price I was staying somewhere nice but looked like a jail cell in a great location. There was only one window and it was way up high that you couldn't see out of, concrete walls. The room looked like it was from the '70s. If you want a quiet place to stay and area this is not it. The doors slam so loud, you can hear people outside the window, trucks beeping, bottles clanging. It's like being in the center of Times Square, restaurants, bars, people etc right outside the door. I also didn't like I had to leave my room key with the desk every time I left so that they could buzz me in when I returned. The bed & blanket were very comfortable. The pillow was like a lumpy pancake. I asked for another and it was better with two.

Habitación lista y limpia al momento del check in, el baño compartido muy limpio, todo bien!...cerca de la estación central....para iniciar recorrido está bien, a pasos del barrio rojo y plaza dam. Tienes comida por todos lados, para escoger. Alquiler de bicicleta a la mano por horas o por días... El desayuno muy cumplidor con lo básico para arrancar el día con energía..

Ok hotel had no wardrobe in the room had to keep clothes in my personal bag also public bathroom but nowhere to put clothes.did not have breakfast looked a bit short on choice. Good points the staff were very pleasant and the location was great.it was in a side street very near Amsterdam Centraal and plenty of shops and cafes. Overall surprisingly good

Huone oli pieni ja jyrkkien portaiden päässä. Siisti huone, sänky ok. Äänet kuuluivat sekä ulkoa että naapurihuoneista. Aamiainen ok (kiitos soijamaidosta kahviin!).

El lugar esta muy bien ubicado, es la segunda vez qje me quedo aqui. Me emcanto la habitación 4 esta muy espaciosa. Es de los pocos alojamientos que incluyen desayuno!

Old outdated property, if you have mobility issues, stairs are very steep. The location was amazing though and the staff were nice and helpful. I’ll definitely stay again!

Disgusting rotten rooms, please don’t book here anyone. Tried to get my money back apparently Expedia can’t contact the manager so therefore not entitled to refund. I have took it further. Don’t waste your time anyone

Good location, 5 minutes walk from Amsterdam Centraal Station. Clean room and friendly staff. Food and drinks right outside the front door.

Preferible estar más a las afueras de Amsterdam, hostal ruidoso en los alrededores, feo, estancias viejas y de mal aspecto. No lo volvería a contratar.

Bed bugs

Very nice staff, everything is exactly as we expected. Solid hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff. Close to lots of restaurants and cafés.

The location in the city this close to the train station is great. But that is pretty much all of what is good about this place. We had bedbugs in our beds an got bitten several times. Our room had a shower but the toilet was communal. Breakfast was ok, nothing crazy, but you got something. But only two stars, beacause it was not well cleaned and overall not very comfortable

Room was clean on surface and the staff were great but pretty sure they had bed bugs as I've been bitten all over.

Friendly staff could not fault them and brilliant location comfy beds. However there was a blood stain on the wardrobe and orange stains over the bath

Location is good. You can get access and walk easy to plenty restaurants, central bus and train station, lot thing to do. Good breakfast.
