The staff was very helpful and kind. City center is near by walking 5 min. Room was enough for 1 person and very clean. But it is a little bit expensive.

Hotellet ligger väldigt centralt, vilket vi verkligen uppskattade! Vill du vara i centrum för en bra peng kan jag rekommendera detta hotell. Däremot var förberedd på att det är ganska smutsigt. Golvet i vårt rum hade massa olika fläckar, damm i alla hörn och element hade konstiga märken på sig. Badrummet var i bra skick och sängen var väldigt skön! Sängen och badrummet var det enda som såg ordentligt städat ut. Hade det varit mer städat skulle jag gett bra betyg. Platsen av hotellet gjorde all skillnad :)

Ufattelig lite bad. Vanskelig med å få plass mellom vegg å knær på toalett. Ingen tv. Og utrolig mye trafikk i gangene hele natta igjennom! Fikk en følelse av vandrerhjem /hostel. Lite hotell følelse.

The hotel is situated in a prime area of Oslo, which initially gave us high expectations. However, our experience was disappointing from the start. Upon arrival, we were met with a rude and unwelcoming receptionist, which set a negative tone for our stay.
The cleanliness of the room was below standard—no daily cleaning was provided, which was quite surprising for a hotel of this caliber. Most concerning was the condition of the washroom in Room 411. The toilet commode was broken, and despite our request to change the room, we were simply told “sorry” with no further action taken.
Customer service and maintenance need serious improvement. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel based on our experience.

Det var ett bra hotell. Enkel sjekk in, glimrende utsjekkingstid, bra pris og en god beliggenhet.
Det eneste negative som jeg kan bemerke, er romfordelingen. Det kunne være forvirrende å finne frem til riktig rom, da f.eks seksjon B gikk opp til rom 619, mens seksjon C gikk fra 620-639 feks.

The property was in a great location, right in the heart of Oslo and easy to get around from there. As for the hotel itself, it was nothing special, it was a normal hotel and a bit run down. The hotel room itself wasn't functional for long stays, as there was nowhere to lay down luggage or room to put your belongings off the ground. It was clean. Easy check in and check out as it was all done on your own at a kiosk and free extended checkout times until 1:00. If you become a "friend" of the hotel through their app, you can check it at 12:00 instead of 3:00. Definitely a great option when staying in Oslo.

Basic but yet accommodating all your needs. Loved how smart they reduced the cost of hotel and as a result you get affordable rates. Located in the heart of city and easy to access everywhere. And don’t forget to eat in partner’s cafe downstairs, Spor Av Nord, both for breakfast and dinner! Not only you’ll get quality food but also you’ll get discount for staying in the hotel. Totally worth it!

My room was perfect. I have come to CityBox a few times before and have always enjoyed it except for the time I was given room 613 I believe it was, which was way too small. So small I could only stand in about half the room. That room should be turned back to the broom closet it once was!
