Four Points by Sheraton Palawan Puerto Princesa

Property is great and pool is amazing! It’s about an hour and a half outside of Puerto Princessa, but we enjoyed that. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Our biggest complaint is the service at the restaurant. It takes forever to order and get your food. For example, it was not unusual for us to wait 30-40 mins to get our drinks and then another hour to get food. Because there are no other options on the property, you have to wait. We ended up eating at the resort next door and it was absolutely amazing service and food. Also, we were assured all the water is purified, however, my whole family got sick from drinking the water they provide in their glass refillable bottles. I am not convinced the water was purified enough for our North America stomachs to handle. Overall, I would say the resort is lovely and the staff are helpful. They just need to improve on the restaurant service and I would suggest working on their purification system if they aren’t going to provide sealed bottled water to guests.

Resort is far too isolated with nothing really to do. Restaurant food is poor quality and equally poor service. The resort next door was much better! Last morning before checking out, they shut off our water and we had to complain to have it turned back on Don’t recommend and wouldn’t stay again.

Väldigt rent och trevligt hotell, vackert beläget på stranden. Jättefint rum. De flesta i personalen var supertrevliga. Några små missar i kommunikationen och inte så personligt, men vi trivdes jättebra! Stor upplevelse att få vara med när sködpaddorna kläckts och släpptes ut i havet.

The breakfast is good. Not fantastic, but more than sufficient. But the view from the outside tables makes it excellent. We couldn’t get enough of it. Service is absolutely excellent. You get a feeling they’re genuinely respectful and friendly, and really can’t do enough for you. It’s not so much in other places. We’re in El Nido now, and it is definitely not the same. The area is also less touristy than El Nido. It’s a small village just a couple hundred meters from the hotel, with mom and pop restaurants who serve cheap and very good local cuisine. Try the pork sisig. It’s amazing. It’s also highly recommended to go there and buy beer or wine to enjoy on the beach or your room instead of at the hotel. It’s less than half the price, and better selection. The pool is amazing. If I should find something to complain about, it would be it’s a bit too hot and not deep enough. But that doesn’t matter. The ocean is perfect if you need to cool down. The Underground River is mesmerizing. Absolutely worth the money! All in all; you get a lot for your money, less people and more authentic than El Nido. I can highly recommend this place. Worth knowing: it’s at a dead end, so if you want to go to El Nido, you will have to backtrack 45 mins and change van at Salvacion. We paid 1300 PHP per person, but you can get private transportation for 10-21.000 PHP. Don’t book at the hotel! They take 21k, but our hotel in El Nido offered it for 11,5k for two persons.

Breakfast buffet was one of the best on the island. The hotel is clean and quiet. I would highly recommend.

The premises are beautiful and very well maintained. There are multiple pools and a kiddie playroom, which was especially convenient for me traveling with my young son. The journey from the airport to the hotel, however, was extremely challenging for me personally. The road leading to the resort is quite curvy and turbulent, and I experienced severe nausea and vomiting for several hours after arrival. It may be helpful for the hotel to inform guests in advance so those prone to motion sickness can prepare accordingly. I was grateful that the in-house nurse kindly provided medication free of charge. During our stay, I noticed that service operations appeared somewhat strained. Our room was not always cleaned unless we followed up with reception, and restaurant service was slow, with wait times often exceeding one hour per meal. The staff were polite and professional, but seemed overwhelmed by the volume of guests. This is important to consider, particularly when traveling with a hungry toddler. Additionally, there is no nearby convenience store, so guests are largely reliant on the hotel’s food service. On a very positive note, the breakfast buffet was excellent, generous, varied, and of high quality. Overall, the property itself is lovely, but service capacity and access logistics are factors future guests may wish to consider.

Room was very clean, and very comfortable, elevator was inop, and that is inconvenient, also there is some issues with communication, but the location is beautiful and the pool and hot tub is amazing

Breakfast buffet was chaotic. They were understaffed and bewildered. First the empty tables were not cleaned and made available. Next, there was unidentified areas for special eggs or coffee. Third, the coffee was typically out and a line was formed. The available scrambled eggs were runny. There was always something not available. Next, went to dinner and nobody served me. I waited 30 minutes and left. Once again, chaotic as staff was overwhelmed with the amount of people. Third, the dry sauna was not available. Fourth, a lot of areas were in disrepair. Broken curtains, torn up overhangs, even windows were broken.

Le personnel pas au top, avoir été deranger en chambre et ce meme apres avoir mis un do not disturb sur la porte car le restaurant avait omis de faire signer l adition... pas tres pro vérifier egalement les factures qui vous sont faite on a tenté de nous faire payer un shutle non effectuer. L établissement non fumeur ou le seul espace de disponible est a l extrémité de la plage a 50metre, ne prenez pas le risque d en fumer une sur le balcon, car les vigiles sont la pour vous observé et 2 minutes apres votre telephone de chambre sonne pour un rappel a l ordre assez surprenant, La plage est assez sauvage mais usé le seul atout c est les rivières souteraines a proximités mais le trajet est l hotel reste loin de tout notament de l aeroport. Le petit dejeuner est tres bien la terasse est agreable, la piscine grande mais pas tres propre, le service du soir au resto n est pas a la hauteur et un peu brouillon. Les chambre sont dans le style de la chaine hoteliere usine et impersonnel, et avec beaucoup de passage donc usure avancé ou prématurée, et comme dans beaucoup d hotel sur le pays la clim est pas parfaite ce qui amene constamment ces odeurs désagréable et d humilité c est assez genant. La literie et le matelat sont confortable En résumé personnels peu mieux faire, petit dejeuner ok resto et service moyen, endroit ok mais loin et difficiles d acces chambre impersonnel et usé et odeur d humilité constante a faire pour une etape mais ca fait un long detour du nord
