Our stay here was top notch! We were greeted by Rohan who couldn’t be more helpful. He was so welcoming and friendly. We were given a free drinks voucher to celebrate my birthday and our room was decorated with balloons and a lovely quality banner! The room had everything we needed, nice collection of shower gel and lotions etc. the view was lovely and the bed was enormous! Joy was another member of staff who went over and above. She was so friendly and professional, so kind. The cleanliness of the hotel is spot on! So fresh too with the new renovations! I would defo recommend this place! We will be back!

The staff were very helpful looked after us really well. The breakfast was excellent. and the hotel was in a great position in the middle of town and close to the bus and railway stations

Room was clean and refurbished. The refurbished rooms were still quite narrow and the room seemed very small. The hotel is undergoing a refurbishment so amenities are not all there yet. Breakfast was nice.

The entrance to the hotel was lovely as it has been refurbished as has the bar and breakfast area, the room needs a refurbishment as it looks tired, we were woken up at 7am by a banging noise coming from the radiator. The bathroom had bits of wood missing from the door frame. We went down for breakfast at 8-45 and the food was just warm so needs to be looked at and other guests were saying the same.

Das Hotel wäre eigentlich ganz in Ordnung. Die Lage ist hervorragend. Leider wurden wir nicht von HOTELS.COM informiert, das dort gerade massive Umbaumassnahmen statt fanden. Es gab weder Restaurant, Bar, oder Rezeption. Selbst der Fahrstuhl fuhr nur bis bzw. Ab der 1. Etage. Wir mussten über nebeneimgang ins Hotel und die Koffer bis in den ersten Stock tragen. Das Frühstück ist ok wurde jedoch im wenig einöadenden Pausenraum der Tagungsstätte serviert. Ausblick vom Zimmer war auf den Hinterhof mit nicht dicht schließenden Fenstern und extremen Lärm die ganze Nacht, egal ob Wochenende oder Werktags.

Ma note est dûe au fait que l'hôtel était en travaux à mon arrivée (rénovation du restaurant et de la réception au rez de chaussée et de salles de conférence aux 5e et 6e étages). En conséquence : hall d'accueil minuscule, bruit de travaux même le samedi, et restaurants dans une salle de réception au sous-sol. Toutefois le réceptionniste m'a attribué une chambre au 3e pour limiter le bruit lié au travaux sans que j'ai à le demander et l'équipe et l'aménagement pour le petit déjeuner était très bien. Côté points positifs : hôtel très bien situé entre les deux gares de Glasgow et pleins de restaurants et attractions à proximité; personnel aimable et serviable, litterie confortable (mais lit trop grand pour la taille de la chambre); et buffet petit déjeuner très bien que ce soit en choix et en qualité. À part ça, des travaux de rénovation du reste de l'hôtel serait les bienvenus car l'isolation phonique extérieure côté rue est mauvaise et la ventilation de la salle de bain sous dimensionnée)

I booked this hotel but didn’t stay, the room was dated and needing freshened up, there was a refurbishment going on and if I’d have known this I would have picked an other hotel, the Corinthian next door had a patio and you could see right in our room no net curtains were up, the reception was as soon as you went through the doors to the hotel a small pod. I did email hotels.com twice and got no reply so won’t be using them again.

Turned up to find the reception area looking like a building site, just enough space for the small reception desk, the receptionist and 2 or 3 travellers (at a squeeze). One lift seemed to be held together with duck tape. The room was incredibly small, barely enough space to put the suitcases but not enough to walk around them easily. Bed was uncomfortably hard. Pillows like crumbled foam. Bathroom small, leaking toilet cistern, rust on the bath around the metal handle and tap. Restaurant closed, breakfast very limited and in a paper bag. In summary, one of my worst hotel experiences.

Hotel is undergoing some refurb, but Matthew on reception explained where I could find everything. The rooms are a bit dated, with limited sockets, but the bedroom was clean & comfortable. The lovely staff on the floor quickly brought me an iron. The bathroom shower rail was very rusty & this made the bathroom less appealing, but again, it was clean and the toiletries are lovely & the towels cozy. Matthew on reception was a godsend during my visit, quickly dealing with my early check in, luggage query and directing me to various areas. He greeted me each time with the professionalism I saw him use towards others, but also the friendliness I know & love about Glasgow. He’s an absolute asset. I was attending a conference and on both days, the lunches and breakfast were really good too. In short, slightly dated rooms, but outstanding staff.

We were not advised of refurbishment works. Hotel was shabby and untidy due to this. Early morning building works that should not have happened that early caused lack of sleep. No hot water in the morning so unable to shower.

The hotel has no lobby right now, there are 2 lifts, one of which is held together with masking tape and cardboard and they start renovations at 9AM which are screaming loud. Honestly one of the worst stays of my life.

Hotel getting renovated however the road noise from outside was horrendous. Traffic and patrons egressing from the night club next door at 3 am was so loud . The rooms could be doing with better glazed windows that ensure a more quiet pleasant stay .

There are major works going on at the hotel which we were not informed about! It was extremely noisy and messy with workmen everywhere. The lounge/bar area at the front of the hotel was closed completely. The carpet in our room was threadbare, the room was very small and too hot and the view from our room was of the back of old grey horrible buildings and walls. We only had one bath towel between us which was rectified on request. Sorry but overall, one of the worst places we have stayed. Would not recommend.

The positives were the bed was clean and they offer a send out same day laundry service but that's where it ends. The pictures used for advertising were deceiving. They looked a lot larger. I had about a foot and a half between the desk and the bed and I had to Jenga my suitcase open in order to lay it flat. They claim to focus on having clean rooms but there was mild in the bathroom and cracks in the ceilings, dirt in the corners. There was no air conditioning and no fan to keep air moving so the room was extremely hot. I did open a window but you're centrally located and so hearing loud people late at night was the cost to try to cool the room at all. There was no notice that they were going to be under renovations so between 7&8 am you heard banging from them. There was a drip I thought was coming from outside but was actually inside the walls and it was constantly dripping and was distracting.

This hotel is undergoing an extensive renovation and as such most of the hotel is inaccessible the front door comes directly into a desk and lifts that’s it. The rooms are tiny and very noisy with street sounds outside. I booked 2 rooms and at no point was I told that the hotel was under construction and there was no restaurant or bar, so I feel very let down that we weren’t forewarned of the experience we would get.

Das Hotel wäre eigentlich ganz in Ordnung. Die Lage ist hervorragend. Leider wurden wir nicht von HOTELS.COM informiert, das dort gerade massive Umbaumassnahmen statt fanden. Es gab weder Restaurant, Bar, oder Rezeption. Selbst der Fahrstuhl fuhr nur bis bzw. Ab der 1. Etage. Wir mussten über nebeneimgang ins Hotel und die Koffer bis in den ersten Stock tragen. Das Frühstück ist ok wurde jedoch im wenig einöadenden Pausenraum der Tagungsstätte serviert. Ausblick vom Zimmer war auf den Hinterhof mit nicht dicht schließenden Fenstern und extremen Lärm die ganze Nacht, egal ob Wochenende oder Werktags.

Our stay here was top notch! We were greeted by Rohan who couldn’t be more helpful. He was so welcoming and friendly. We were given a free drinks voucher to celebrate my birthday and our room was decorated with balloons and a lovely quality banner! The room had everything we needed, nice collection of shower gel and lotions etc. the view was lovely and the bed was enormous! Joy was another member of staff who went over and above. She was so friendly and professional, so kind. The cleanliness of the hotel is spot on! So fresh too with the new renovations! I would defo recommend this place! We will be back!

Ma note est dûe au fait que l'hôtel était en travaux à mon arrivée (rénovation du restaurant et de la réception au rez de chaussée et de salles de conférence aux 5e et 6e étages). En conséquence : hall d'accueil minuscule, bruit de travaux même le samedi, et restaurants dans une salle de réception au sous-sol. Toutefois le réceptionniste m'a attribué une chambre au 3e pour limiter le bruit lié au travaux sans que j'ai à le demander et l'équipe et l'aménagement pour le petit déjeuner était très bien. Côté points positifs : hôtel très bien situé entre les deux gares de Glasgow et pleins de restaurants et attractions à proximité; personnel aimable et serviable, litterie confortable (mais lit trop grand pour la taille de la chambre); et buffet petit déjeuner très bien que ce soit en choix et en qualité. À part ça, des travaux de rénovation du reste de l'hôtel serait les bienvenus car l'isolation phonique extérieure côté rue est mauvaise et la ventilation de la salle de bain sous dimensionnée)

I booked this hotel but didn’t stay, the room was dated and needing freshened up, there was a refurbishment going on and if I’d have known this I would have picked an other hotel, the Corinthian next door had a patio and you could see right in our room no net curtains were up, the reception was as soon as you went through the doors to the hotel a small pod. I did email hotels.com twice and got no reply so won’t be using them again.

Turned up to find the reception area looking like a building site, just enough space for the small reception desk, the receptionist and 2 or 3 travellers (at a squeeze). One lift seemed to be held together with duck tape. The room was incredibly small, barely enough space to put the suitcases but not enough to walk around them easily. Bed was uncomfortably hard. Pillows like crumbled foam. Bathroom small, leaking toilet cistern, rust on the bath around the metal handle and tap. Restaurant closed, breakfast very limited and in a paper bag. In summary, one of my worst hotel experiences.

Fantastic location, friendly staff, in particular, the reception staff and housekeeping manager. Rooms are a little dated and expensive for what you get. However, no issues with cleanliness which is important to me!

Hotel is undergoing some refurb, but Matthew on reception explained where I could find everything. The rooms are a bit dated, with limited sockets, but the bedroom was clean & comfortable. The lovely staff on the floor quickly brought me an iron. The bathroom shower rail was very rusty & this made the bathroom less appealing, but again, it was clean and the toiletries are lovely & the towels cozy. Matthew on reception was a godsend during my visit, quickly dealing with my early check in, luggage query and directing me to various areas. He greeted me each time with the professionalism I saw him use towards others, but also the friendliness I know & love about Glasgow. He’s an absolute asset. I was attending a conference and on both days, the lunches and breakfast were really good too. In short, slightly dated rooms, but outstanding staff.

We were not advised of refurbishment works. Hotel was shabby and untidy due to this. Early morning building works that should not have happened that early caused lack of sleep. No hot water in the morning so unable to shower.

The hotel has no lobby right now, there are 2 lifts, one of which is held together with masking tape and cardboard and they start renovations at 9AM which are screaming loud. Honestly one of the worst stays of my life.

Hotel getting renovated however the road noise from outside was horrendous. Traffic and patrons egressing from the night club next door at 3 am was so loud . The rooms could be doing with better glazed windows that ensure a more quiet pleasant stay .

There are major works going on at the hotel which we were not informed about! It was extremely noisy and messy with workmen everywhere. The lounge/bar area at the front of the hotel was closed completely. The carpet in our room was threadbare, the room was very small and too hot and the view from our room was of the back of old grey horrible buildings and walls. We only had one bath towel between us which was rectified on request. Sorry but overall, one of the worst places we have stayed. Would not recommend.

The positives were the bed was clean and they offer a send out same day laundry service but that's where it ends. The pictures used for advertising were deceiving. They looked a lot larger. I had about a foot and a half between the desk and the bed and I had to Jenga my suitcase open in order to lay it flat. They claim to focus on having clean rooms but there was mild in the bathroom and cracks in the ceilings, dirt in the corners. There was no air conditioning and no fan to keep air moving so the room was extremely hot. I did open a window but you're centrally located and so hearing loud people late at night was the cost to try to cool the room at all. There was no notice that they were going to be under renovations so between 7&8 am you heard banging from them. There was a drip I thought was coming from outside but was actually inside the walls and it was constantly dripping and was distracting.

This hotel is undergoing an extensive renovation and as such most of the hotel is inaccessible the front door comes directly into a desk and lifts that’s it. The rooms are tiny and very noisy with street sounds outside. I booked 2 rooms and at no point was I told that the hotel was under construction and there was no restaurant or bar, so I feel very let down that we weren’t forewarned of the experience we would get.
