Main negative was no full length mirror so was very difficult to get ready. Wouldnt stay here again for this reason. Coffee facilities also poor in the room and breakfast very overpriced.

Lovely hotel, nice rooftop bar, perfect location. The hotel seemed to lose water for an hour or so one morning as we were getting ready (and this wasn’t commented on), but likely a one-off issue, and otherwise was great.

Helt greit hotell. Innsjekk tok litt tid. Rommet var greit, men begynte å bli litt slitt. AC virket ikke så vi måtte ha teknikker opp for å fikse den.
Rooftop baren var et pluss, men tok lang tid å få bestilling og drikke.

Som ett av Bilbao’s eldste hotell var oppholdet på Ercilla uforglemmelig med imøtekommende personale og god service. Takterrassen med bar og utsikt over Bilbao ble en fin avslutning på kveldene vi var her.

Et ganske udemærket hotel som ligger godt og god gåafstand til byen.
Meget venligt personale og morgenmaden meget fin - men lidt til den dyre ende.
Vores værelse var udemærket - men jeg tror ikke at vi fik det som vi troede vi havde bestilt, da jeg i sin tid bookede dette hotel.
Der var sorte pletter i loftet på badeværelset og mærker efter vand og også lidt mørke render omkring bruseren og mærker på bordet ved håndvasken - måske efter håndsæben og bodylotion beholderne.
Men ellers var det en fin størrelse og gode håndklæder.
Der er en fin restaurant på hotellet og en bar og også en bar på toppen af hotellet med udsigt over byen'
Alt i alt et fint hotel med venligt personale.

A very nice hotel with a beautiful rooftop bar and great views of the city and surrounding mountains. The breakfast was also very nice but didn't start until 0700 which I suppose is standard in Spain. The rooms are a little date and I didn't have much of a view from my windows but was comfortable still.

The Ercilla was probably once very nice though it is now a bit tired. The hallways are dim, decorated with simple, wrinkled framed posters (the same on each floor), there are signs of wear like doors with broken hinges, and well worm bathrooms. Highlights were the rooftop bar, breakfast though be sure to double check if your breakfast is included. We asked and were told that it was and then we were charged for it. Also the gym is light and airy though not set for those who want a serious workout as the dumbbells only go up to 30 pounds/14kg. And the television didn't allow for chrome casting though it said that it did. Overall it was ok, but we will try to find a nicer hotel for our next visit.
