Great experience staying in this Radison hotel in Kandy. Staffs services are excellent throughout and very attentive. Staffs are very friendly willing to help with a smile. They have variety of food and very tasty. Always staffs are very helpful and polite. We enjoyed the buffet.

Ho aspettato 10 minuti per sedermi a colazione al buffet. Il personale non era pronto per accogliere me e mia moglie. Tavoli non sparecchiati, molte persone e disorganizzazione. Sono stato mandato via dal manager del ristorante perché quel tavolo era riservato per un gruppo, ma dopo di me si è seduta solamente una persona. Per quello che ho pagato questo hotel, il servizio della colazione non è all’altezza di gestire il ristorante. Sopratutto la qualità del cibo è scarsa, il pollo era completamente crudo con ancora il sangue.

The place has great potential unfortunately the place doesn’t hit the mark. There is many things lacking - service, cleanliness, attention to detail etc. The bed is uncomfortable gave me a back ache. Think for a night or so it would be fine for guests staying longer than that wouldn’t recommend.

Personalen vid takbaren var otroligt trevliga och proffsiga. Även i matsalen var personalen pratsam och trevlig. Rummen var fina och fräscha. Hotellet låg bra till och vi trivdes jättebra.

The hotel rooms are a good standard, rooms perfect, very well cleaned and modern, breakfast was great and good value for money, staff are friendly. The general atmosphere is as you would expect from hotels in this price range. Only negative is the taxes that are added on to the meal prices and drinks bought when we checked out. The prices should be transparent when ordering. This is what I am used to in the UK, but I understand different countries operate differently. It’s on a steep hill but there are Tuk Tuks everywhere and costs about LKR 200 to LKR 500 into town, also Kandy is lively with lots to see and do. Finally though, this hotel I would recommend, it’s excellent and we were very happy there.

The hotel was average but probably the best 4 star in the area that is walkable to the temple. Special mention to the reception staff who facilitated an early check-in - this was much appreciated as I was travelling with a 2 year old which helped with his feeding and rest after a long train journey from Colombo in the morning.
