Toppenboende i Wengen med mycket hjälpsam och trevlig personal. Helt OK frukost, däremot provade vi inte middagarna eftersom vi åt kraftig lunch på våra utflykter. Jungfraujoch och Shilthorn är häftiga utflyktsmål, dock blir Jungfraujoch väldigt dyrt. Bra vandringsmöjligheter runt Wengen men backigt.

AMAZING HOTEL in Wengen. Walking distance to the train station. Very clean, simple room. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Very helpful staff who truly care about their job and hotel. Excellent views, very close to trail that leads you down to Lauterbrunnen. It’s a downhill walk and the views are stunning. We would definitely stay here again. You cannot go wrong with this hotel.

We stayed 4 nights and the staff members were all amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Private sauna was very relaxing. Breakfast was wonderful each day. We also had dinner at the hotel one night and it was very good. We would highly recommend this hotel.

This is by far one of the best hotels in the entire world I have been. Very close to the train station in Wengen (just need to walk around 200 meters) downhill with luggage through a paved street. If you are in good shape, that is not a problem. All staff super friendly, feels like family. Breakfast included with very fresh and local options. We had the dinner at the hotel and it was amazing with great selection. Rooms very well mantained. Did I mention the beautiful views? Out of this world. Seems like you are in a movie with the mountains and access to many trails to visit Lauterbrunnen, Interlaken, etc. In the hotel, all People gave us recommendations where to visit. If you go to Switzerland, this is one of the best life experiences you can have.

Staff was very welcoming, great location, lots of little amenities that you wouldn’t consider, like the fridge in lobby for guest use (most hotels here don’t have mini bar fridge in room), sauna, and fixed cost for guests at competitive price for the restaurant. Rooms are comfortable, homey, and clean. We only stayed one night, and didn’t get to fully enjoy it all, but would certainly rebook here!

My words will fail me as I try to describe our stay! This place is amazing!!! I can't wait to visit again. The hotel is lovely. Quiet and in a beautiful setting. It was very clean. The rooms had everything we needed for our stay. We had a nice view from our balcony. We had dinner one night which was wonderful. Breakfast each morning was a nice way to start our day. But the thing that really sets it apart is the amazing staff! So kind, helpful and a pleasure to talk to. I highly recommend staying here. I hope to be back sooner rather than later!

They spent 5-10 minutes going over all the hiking opportunities in the area, etc. with me (and with all new others who checked in). The single room is a little tight, but that's expected in Europe. What can be expressed in words about the surreal beauty of the Lauterbrunnen valley and the surrounding area! And to make the most of this, find a setting that is close to most activities, but away from the crowds and noise. Wengen is a true loving community as displayed by summer weekly programs of traditional singing, dance, mountain long horn by local artists. Now add to that the joy of being treated as family, and so head to Edelweiss. From the moment that Balazs greeted us, filling us in on not only the hotel but surrounding activities, we felt welcome. And later, other staff knew us in the hall, calling us by name, and welcoming us to delicious breakfast each morning. This place proudly displays the names/pictures of their staff, so we could begin to call them by name, as well. Clean, friendly. Nice views, comfortable room. Please note this is down the hill from the train station by a couple of hundred meters, so take a local taxi if with mobility concern, but by all means add Edelweiss to your joys of Swiss experience.

Staff was friendly and excellent. The restaurant on site and chef were outstanding. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back. But it was the staff that would make us go back. Rooms were clean with nice views, but bathrooms were a little tight.

The rooms were clean, the staff was FANTASTIC, we had a Mountain View that was breath taking, the breakfasts were outstanding! The only negative was the smaller bathroom but I am 6’ 1” tall. Just GREAT overall.

My words will fail me as I try to describe our stay! This place is amazing!!! I can't wait to visit again. The hotel is lovely. Quiet and in a beautiful setting. It was very clean. The rooms had everything we needed for our stay. We had a nice view from our balcony. We had dinner one night which was wonderful. Breakfast each morning was a nice way to start our day. But the thing that really sets it apart is the amazing staff! So kind, helpful and a pleasure to talk to. I highly recommend staying here. I hope to be back sooner rather than later!

The staff here is incredible accommodating. Super friendly and very willing to help. They spent 5-10 minutes going over all the hiking opportunities in the area, etc. with me (and with all new others who checked in). The single room is a little tight, but that's expected in Europe. The proper was very clean, in good repair, and the bed was comfy. Very enjoyable stay.

What can be expressed in words about the surreal beauty of the Lauterbrunnen valley and the surrounding area! And to make the most of this, find a setting that is close to most activities, but away from the crowds and noise. Wengen is a true loving community as displayed by summer weekly programs of traditional singing, dance, mountain long horn by local artists. Now add to that the joy of being treated as family, and so head to Edelweiss. From the moment that Balazs greeted us, filling us in on not only the hotel but surrounding activities, we felt welcome. And later, other staff knew us in the hall, calling us by name, and welcoming us to delicious breakfast each morning. This place proudly displays the names/pictures of their staff, so we could begin to call them by name, as well. Clean, friendly. Nice views, comfortable room. Please note this is down the hill from the train station by a couple of hundred meters, so take a local taxi if with mobility concern, but by all means add Edelweiss to your joys of Swiss experience.
