Great hotel close to airport

Der CheckIn war OK. Flure und Umgebung schmuddelig, Zimmer sauber. Jedoch weder Seife noch Waschzeug auf den Zimmern. Auch kein Automat, wp man etwas adäquates bekommen kann. Weg zum Flughafen stockdunkel, ohne Beleuchtung.

The hotel was in a very loud area, the room was hot and stuffy and the window was over a very loud bar playing loud music all night. There was no airflow or fan. The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. There are no amenities not even soap to wash your hands after the toilet which just made me worry about all the fecal matter that might be lurking around the hotel. The halls were dingy and the carpets were very dirty. Overall I would not stay here again and it was the worse hotel experience I have had in years. It would have been better and more restful and cheaper to just stay at the airport.

The property also has apartments in it, the neighbors were smoking marijuana in their underwear right outside our patio. Felt unsafe to leave the patio door open. Very shabby rooms, broken appliances and in need of a deep cleaning.

We stayed one night in Zurich at the beginning of a 14-day tour through Europe and one night at the end of our trip. The first night we stayed at Swiss Star Zurich Airport and the last night we stayed around the corner at Zleep Hotel Zürich-Kloten. The cost difference was less than 10 euros and the difference was night and day. This place was run-down with no air conditioning. The place around the corner was new, efficient, with a staffed lobby, a bar and great working AC! the only reason I didn't rate it lower is because it felt safe and the bed was alright. But when I compare what you get for the money, I recommend you skip Swiss Star and head to Zleep Hotel.

The room itself was clean and the shower was nice, which we appreciated. However, there were a few issues that made our stay less comfortable. The window did not open, and there was no air conditioning or fan, which made the room very warm and stuffy. We also had trouble arranging parking, no one was available to contact, so we ended up having to park at a neighbouring hotel. Another downside was the lack of reception or any staff on-site. While the self-check-in process might work for some, we personally didn’t like the absence of staff, especially when we needed help. Overall, while the room was fine, the lack of ventilation, customer service, and proper parking made the experience disappointing.

We arrived late at the airport and had to walk through deserted parks and wasteland to get to the hotel (although the next day we found a safer route) The apartment was hot with no air conditioning. There were patio doors but they led to weed covered balconies that could be accessed easily from other apartments. We did not feel comfortable leaving the doors open at night and in one room there was no other ventilation. The light in the bathroom had been dismantled so we had to shower using phones as torches. The light in one bedroom did not work and there were broken switches that we had to fix in order to operate the blinds. My sons woke up the next morning covered in bites. As we were getting dressed in the morning, someone used the code on the door to enter the apartment without knocking first, obviously unaware that we were still there and were staying two nights. As we were leaving for a day out the same two workers asked if they could go in to silicone the bathroom, a job that did not appear to be needed, could not be done while the tiles were wet and would have needed 24 hrs to dry, meaning we could not have used the shower for the rest of our stay. We were not happy with them having access to our room and belongings while we were out. We tried to find somewhere else to stay but there was nothing available that we could afford.The stay in this hotel tarnished our visit to Switzerland and we would not recommend it to others as it was unsafe.

No lights in bathroom. Broken switches. Noisy neighbors. Parking problem.

Check in details were incomplete and we couldn’t find our room which was in another building. Had to call to get directions. The apartment doesn’t look like the pictures- no living room. The deck has furniture that is unusable. No coffee or other supplies. Super hot in the apartment and no fans.

Yall need to know THERE IS NO AC OR FAN!!!!! We had to stay one night in late June and had a very sticky sweaty night. The only solution is opening all the windows at risk of all the bugs coming in. This property should at least have a standing fan or two for the rooms. Beds were mid, hard ro sleep because we were just so hot. There were people outside yelling all hours of the night and I generally got a hostile vibe from this place not a hotel or anything. But since we just needed one night it was walkable from the airport (30 or so minutes bc we had a 7 year old with us) and that was fine.

Die Umgebung war sehr laut (wann konnte die Leute in anderen Zimmer deutlich hören)

Zimmer groß,sauber und Lebensqualität bedarf von kleinen Küche sind sehr gut.

It should be clearly advertised that the peoperty has No AC. This ia major issue in summer

The location is great for being an Uber ride away from the airport or train station, but it was not as clean as most places I have stayed in Switzerland, especially for the price I paid. It felt very high traffic and wiped down with just water and an old rag. The linens were clean, but the other surfaces felt not so clean. Maybe they are not used to Swiss and German ideas of clean just yet.
