Baan Sawan Samui Resort

Very modern and well decorated venue . The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly with a relaxed attitude as the day we needed to check out we could use the facilities and towels for the day. We had a lovely cooked Thai evening meal when we arrived . There were a couple of places nearby to eat and there was a ten minute walk to the beach by walking over the road . We liked the location and would revisit again in the future

Really beautiful resort. But you need a bike or a car to go to places… Really kind staff and great chill vibes.

The road leading up to the resort is narrow and not well lit. I do not recommend walking around this area. The facilities themselves are beautiful, well maintained, and well-run. Everything was clean and comfortable. The pool was nice as well. The staff were super friendly but there were a few issues communicating with the resort staff. Though it is close to the beach it is not very close to any night life on foot.

Vi har haft den skønneste uge på hotellet. Hotellet er meget roligt, og meget smukt. Det er en sand perle.Personalet er utrolig søde, smilende og hjælpsomme. Vi håber bestemt at vende tilbage en dag.

When you get inside the resort it looks very good inside. To get to it you have to go up a dubious road. The hotel isn't on the beach and there isn't anything or worth close by. Check-in was fine and I was shown to my room overlooking the pool. The bed was nicely presented with towels folded into shapes with flower petals. Coffee/tea making facilities. Two free bottles of water a day. A minibar fridge stocked with items if you want them at cost, air conditioning and celing fan. The TV didn't have an aerial so it was searching for a signal. After contacting reception it appears you have to press digital TV then have apps to watch Netflix (your account), YouTube. I brought my own USB stick with movies on it that worked fine with the TV. I didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on that. The pool looked relaxing if you didn't want to venture out the hotel. It also had a bar/seating area for drinks which looked nice. I accidently left my phone in a taxi back to the hotel and one of the staff was really helpful lending me his phone to try and locate the driver. In short once your there it's great but you need taxis to take you anywhere.

We recently stayed here as a family and i cannot give this hotel an high enough review . The hotel is a small boutique style and set in a great secluded position around 5 minutes walk from Chaweng Noi beach . You get a great feeling as soon as you walk in . The owners and staff treat you like family and cannot do enough for you . With there being around 10 rooms everyone is looked after and any special requirements are taken care of immediately . The place is spotless , The bar area is very chilled and nothing is too much trouble . I would urge anyone visiting Koh Samui to stay here as when we return we certainly shall be . Thankyou to everyone at the Baan Sawan . 5 stars .

Loved the place and especially appreciated how hospitable and friendly the host, Philip, is. Will definitely stay again when back in Samui. The bed was super comfortable also.

Un séjour de 4 nuits parfait.. Aucune fausse note. Les hôteliers français disponibles et très gentils. Hôtel propre très confortable, petit déjeuner au top. Un peu éloigné mais quel calme! Nous recommandons chaleureusement !!

Our room was beautiful and the hosts could not have been more welcoming and helpful. They gave us a complimentary drink on arrival and organised our transfer to the airport for early the next morning. This all helped us to feel relaxed and comfortable. It was a little out of the way and tricky to find but the benefits outweighed this minor issue.

the hotel was not up to the expectation. it is small and far from the beach. the rooms are small but cozy but it is a regular 3 star hotel. I am not sure how it was rated so high

We had a great stay at Baan Sawan Samui Resort. The resort is not located on the beach, but only about a 10 minutes' walk away. The location is therefore quiet which is great when you want a relaxing stay. The resort is run by a French couple and they were super nice, especially Philippe who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great stay. He gave us tips and recommendations on what to see and do on the island, and he let us a rent a scooter for a good price for our whole stay. The bungalows are super comfortable and the whole resort is very nice. The breakfast buffet was good, there were barely any Thai dishes to choose from though (except for one rice dish) which was too bad, but there was still a good selection of various things (bread, muffins, yoghurt, cereals, pancakes, eggs etc.). We also had dinner at the resort on two evenings and the food was really good, so we can definitely recommend that. All in all, we had a great time here!

Bella camera, pulita e spaziosa! Il letto è comodissimo!! La nostra camera era al piano terra con il terrazzino che da sulla piscina! Ottima la colazione! Abbondante e tutto buono! Il personale è gentilissimo!! Consigliato!

Room was Clean ans Top, stuff also Really nice ans helpfull, Pool small but fine It was mit optimal located- 10 walking minutes to the beach, 15 to Restaurants along a bussy road.

We spent our first few days in Thailand at Baan Sawan and we really enjoyed our stay! It's a nice and quaint family owned hotel at Chaweng Noi, just south of Chaweng. It's quiet and has a really nice gated garden with a pool and palmtrees. The owners, Valerié and Philippe are the best! They gave us tips and ideas on what to do during our stay at Koh Samui and were super welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend Baan Sawan! Johanna & Per

Séjour très agréable et confort dans ce havre de paix. Nous vous conseillons de louer un scooter de suite à votre arrivée pour pouvoir vous rendre n'importe où sur l'île et quand vous le souhaitez (le tour de l'île est largement faisable sur une journée). Les taxis sont insupportables et très chers. Louer un scooter est très rapidement rentabilisé. Le propriétaire vous aidera dans cette démarche. Si vous voulez impérativement aller au centre de l'île et vous perdre dans les chemins de terre, nous vous conseillons une petite moto cross.
