RAYABURI HOTEL PATONG

Ok 3 start touristy property.

Check in lady was very nice and friendly. Had a short 2 night stay here. Room was big and sufficient. Balcony was a nice addition The pool was in the building i was at too. It was empty most of the time which was nice. There was dedicated parking just outside the hotel too which made me feel safe to leave my motorcycle there. However, the only negative for me was the water temperature at the shower. it is either very hot or very cold. there was no inbetween. Once you think you managed to get the temperature right, the temperature fluctuate every few seconds from scalding to freezing. Everything else was good except for the shower which is a waste.

A fantastic hotel. Staff is what makes this hotel amazing. They are friendly and helpful, from front desk staff to cleaning staff. We always come back and definitely will return.

Un hotel que cuenta con todo lo que uno necesita, buena ubicación cerca de la playa, restaurantes, tiendas, renta de motos y sobre todo un excelente servicio , las habitaciones muy bonitas super limpias, con buen internet. El personal muy amable y atentos. Es un hotel al que recomiendo y volveré

We stayed at this hotels for 2 nights and we loved it, the location is perfect and the staff is very friendly.

The hotel is very clean and excellent location but they have no elevator to my room . I had very hard time carring my bags and going up/down everyday.

Good

We stayed in the “family rooms.” It was two rooms with two beds in each room. Each room had a door but only one door actually opened. It also had two bathrooms but the shower in one had several holes in the bottom so the water drained not down the drain but elsewhere into the floor. It also felt like you were in danger of falling through. When we brought it to the attention of the staff they said they have known it for a “long time” but it couldn’t be fixed. The second bathroom had a tub with a shower wand but no shower curtain so we could only take sit-down showers. Another issue was that we could only have one key which caused difficulty with four people coming and going for a beach vacation. They claimed to have a swimming pool but it was two buildings away on the fifth floor and was the size of two hot tubs. Not convenient. Our room was on the fourth floor. Mind you the lobby, hallways and small elevator were not cool and the temperature was in the 90s every day of our stay so it felt like you were in a sauna until you entered your room. We got off the elevator on the fourth floor then had to go down two sets of stairs, through a landing, and up another flight of stairs. Very uncomfortable on a good day but extremely stressful with luggage. See picture attached. Fortunately the location was great but since all money was nonrefundable we stuck it out for our six day stay.

Located right next to the beach. But even better for me next to a food court. Laundromat, massage shop, whatever you need all within walking distance. Bangla road is just the down the way. So for me this hotel was all about location. But what did set it aside was it's nice bathtub. After soaking in the ocean all day it was good to come back and soak in a hot bath. One thing I found odd.... Not that I needed. But to bring anybody back to your room, it's an additional 500 baht

The hotel location was very convenient as it was walking distance to a lot of shops, restaurants and the beach. Staff was very polite and kind but there were a few things we weren’t made aware of before checking in as we booked through Expedia. They require $2000 baht room deposit CASH only upon check in so have money available. They do a walk through of your room upon check out to make sure everything is in order before giving you your deposit back; this took about 10-15 minutes. The couch in our room had multiple existing stains which made us not want to sit on it. They don’t allow durian and mangosteen in your room and will give you a fine if they see it; housekeeping will notify management and they will send you a warning letter with pictures. Their pool/jacuzzi was down during our visit so we didn’t get to use that. Overall, it was a good stay. Just wish we were informed of certain things in advance before booking.
