Sandalay Resort Pattaya

It's directly across pattaya beach. There isn't a noise that came from nightlife activities (at least that's what I experienced). Pattaya 2nd road is nearby, where tiffany show and other tourist attractions are located. Hotel facilities are in a good condition. Outdoor pool is well-maintained and operates until 9pm. Some pool lounge area are covered with synthetic grass floor. You can borrow towel(s) on the front desk. Front officers are friendly, but very rare to give a smile. You can also see the notice that some of them are ladyboy. I got a standard plus room on 6th floor. The room is very clean, well-maintained, and well decorated. But I can still hear a little noise from the alleyway in front of the room. Some facilities you can get : heater kettle, bathroom and beverage amenities, mini bar, hangers, laundry service, 2 mineral water (requested a new one isn't free), etc. There's a daily housekeeping. Housekeepers are more friendly than the FO. I booked a standard plus room. It has a small balcony, not much space to have a sit there (but you can dry your clothes). View from my room is very nice and stare directly to the southwest. If you want to rent a motorbike, you can get it right outside the hotel. (-) : 1) Something sticky under my desk, 2) Officer's english skill isn't good enough (but some of them can speak russia), 3) AC temperature and swing control didn't work, and 4) My door lock is a bit broken. The rest, I love this hotel and highly recommended this hotel.

Location location location. Sandalay Resort is in the perfect location. There is no other hotel with a better view of the beach in a prime central location. We enjoyed our stay very much. Breakfast was excellent, staff were great. We did not go to the bar at night but there was live music every night with English music. Property is a bit older but do not let that stop you from booking as it is very clean. We stayed in a suite with a balcony with beautiful views. Highly recommend!

設備は全体的に古いです。 排水口は詰まっていました。 （海外は大体こんな感じ？） 朝食は美味しかったです。 お粥、手羽元唐揚げ、ご飯にかけるおかずなど 今回の旅行で食べたもので一番美味しかったかも。 受付や掃除スタッフは愛想が悪かったです。 朝食会場のスタッフ（おばちゃん）ひとりは 扇風機の向きをこちらに向けてくれたり愛想良く親切でした。古いのが嫌なので次回はないかな。

A bit old building and interiors. Functional but not top of the line services. Has good sea view from some of the rooms. A/c works at a basic level. Breakfast is OK, basic continental and Thai and some chinese items were present. House keeping service is good.

Overall a nice place to stay for the price. There really isn't much of a fitness room just a bench and some dumbbells. Convince stores ,restaurants, etc just a short walk away very convenient. Staff was nice, housekeeping gets your room cleaned fast. Building is a little old but I enjoyed my stay.

Everything was good. The only disappointment was the gym——— a few loose weights and a bench…..

Very disappointed by choosing this hotel. Firstly the pic of double room I selected did not match by far therefore I had to upgrade costing me an extra 800 baht per night for the remaining 12 nights stay. Furthermore I had to extend my holiday by two extra nights and I was not going to change hotel for just two nights and I asked to stay in the same room but they moved me into their biggest room on same floor two doors down costing me 5600 baht and did not allow me to stay in my already upgraded room which I saw during my last two nights was unoccupied therefore they scammed me for extra money. I would understand if my old room was booked. I have been coming to pattaya for 15 years now Ive used multiple hotels this has to the worst hotel. Lastly do not be deceived by the pics you see of the hotel room they dont match and you will be disappointed. Find another hotel do yourself a favour. Another thing to add the breakfast was also rubbish normally I get up have breakfast and go back to my room, but their variety was poor so most days I did not bother.

Pros: Very close to the beach. Pretty ok room, clean sheets. Hot water available. People are so nice. Cons: The building itself feels a bit old. Free breakfast is pretty limited. WiFi is pretty slow.
