Sara Beachfront Boutique Resort

An incredibly unpleasant experience of a family-run place. Apparently husband and wife do not speak together and have a completely different experience of how the place is being rotated. Talked first to her husband and he didn't believe in the price we got hoss hotels.com but that we would still get a free room upgrade and free first drink (which was also advertised). The wife came and took over and denied both upgrading and free drinks but eventually went to the room upgrade. She came in the pool and told us that the free drink was only in high season and told shockingly that they had so much money that they didn't need our money. We were devoured by mosquitoes and the place qualifies under strong doubt to a three star resort, men fordi svømmebassenget var ok kan det kvalifisere til 3 stjerner. Prisene på mat og drikke var de verste jeg har sett i min 20år med reise i Thailand. Ikke dra dit, velg heller hva som helst annet. Vi spiste ikke der men dro på restaurant i nærheten til 1/4 av prisen og dro avgårde uten frokost så har ikke noen kommentarer på maten annet at den var dyr.

Helt fantastiskt resort som jag varmt kan rekommendera. Otroligt sköna sängar, bra frukost och ett bra utval av rätter på menyn. Med en fantastik pool som var skön och välskött. Trevligt bemött av både personal och ägare gjorde att man kände sig uppskattad.

Wonderful location and scenery, very nice staff and excellent breakfast and food provided . The local beaches need cleaning of plastic and debris that is being deposited from the sea and from locals visiting the beach

We got bitten by sandflies and get infection. The hotel should warned us or something protected.

Great place next to the beach and a pool that looks out into the sea. Amazing staff and so helpful, great place if your after a nice relaxing time before getting a early flight too.

Don’t forget to stay here! Right at the beach. Pleasant swimming pool. Comfortable rooms with great beds: the best of Thailand till now. The restaurant is great thanks to Peter and his wife. Great hospitality.

If you are looking for peace come here. Isolated place. The beach is for you. Bad thing is that low tide is all day. Not a five star resort but defenitly best in the area

We had a great time!! The owners live on site and handle everything personally. Rotjana and Peter made us feel like special guests the whole time we were there. She a phenomenal chef, the best food we’ve had in a month in Thailand. The hotel was beautiful and very well cared for. Overall just wonderful!!

THIS HOTEL ARE NOT 5 STARS HOTEL. First arrived at hotel, I have to ask driver to confirm if this is my destination. I add pictures of my first impression. It look like somebody house with all that messy drying clothes. Then I can't find hotel lobby at all. I have to walk upstairs to find staff in restaurant and owner (I think) sit at the bar. She manage to check in by asking us about our name, website, payment. And argue with staff about rooms conditions. They're not cleaning the room yet and front door key card is broken. While we wait in the room watching the staff do their job. It's a disaster. They didn't clean floor and in bathroom basket are not empty. They used broom to sweep above air conditioner for scaring the lizard off but under the air conditioner is our bed... TV channel/movie is quantity not quality. Drinking water/coffee/tea is cheap brand. Breakfast is so-so with cheap coffee and refrigerate fruits. The worst thing is that the owner have dogs and they run all over the place including the pool!! This's unacceptable.

This place is very nice for a relaxing and quiet stay. There are no crowds of tourists and traders, there is only the sounds of nature. The hostess was very attentive and caring. You will feel like you are at home. Wi-fi is very fast with a good reception. We stayed in a room on the ground floor, it was very large (about 60m2) and had everything you need. But I think there is not enough furniture in the room. The bed has a good mattress, but I think the size of the bed is more like queen than king. There is a very good and new air-conditioning Elecrolux and two ceiling fans. In my opinion the weakest point is a bathroom. Bathroom has only a bathtub with no curtains. There's no separate shower. The pool is very nice and unusual for Thai, with a bar. It has a salt water. The sea is not good in this place, it is very shallow almost all the time. Overal the hotel is very good and I recommend it to everyone.

My husband and I stayed at Sara Boutique hotel after a few bustling days in Bangkok and Hua Hin on route to Koh Samui. We found the place randomly and had no idea what to expect. We were however not dissapointed with the hospitality of our hosts and the beauty of this family run resort. Our room was gorgeous and spacious, overlooking the ocean. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the infinity pool stunning. Besides this, nothing was too much trouble for Rotjana and Peter who made our stay memoroable indeed. We highly recommend this place. Thank you!
