Incredible view near the nr 1 beach on koh Tao according to tripadvisor. Nice bungalow, friendly and helpfull staff, good restaurant, good wifi. They also have a scooter rental service.

Excellent hotel with amazing views. Service was very good in general, one or two of the staff seemed to be a bit grumpy and it seemed like a favor to serve us but the rest were excellent. Out of the way but you can easily take a taxi from the hotel or rent a scooter at a good price.

The Seaview Resort is located on a hill side around 1km from the town, you need transport of some kind for this resort. The staff are extremely helpful. All the huts are on the hillside the steps to them are very steep and actually quite a challenge so maybe not such a good place for the older generation or anybody with walking difficulties.

The best thing of the hotel is the view. We stayed in the deluxe room which is the highest room of the hotel and had amazing view! The room was really big and had a great bathroom with a beautiful wooden tub. Everything looked great until it started raining and we discover all the room had water leaks we had water everywhere but the worst part was that one of the main leaks was in the bed so every time we went to bed we woke up all wet. The sheets were all wet the floor also which made room more messy and not a great experience to have after paying for the deluxe room. I love the view but for the price would better stay on the beach which is not so close to this hotel.

Standard Bungalow sehr einfach gehalten, ausreichend für ein paar Übernachtungen. Kleinere Mängel wie reparaturbedürftiges Dach (regnet im Bad rein), überall Ritze, man muss mit vielen Gekofreunden groß und klein rechnen, hatten nachts auch immer eine Art Eichhörnchen im Bad. Ist ok, weil es eben Natur ist, etwas dichter das ganze wäre aber auch net. Leider hatten wir sowohl auf Handtüchern als auch Bettwäsche irgendwelche Flecken. Für ein paar Übernachtungen ok, für längere Aufenthalte entweder einen teureren Bungalow buchen oder wo anders hingegen. Was in der Beschreibung nicht erwähnt wird, ist das es keine Klospülung gibt und mit Hand Wasser nachgefüllt wird, außerdem gibt es keine Badtür, sondern nur einen Vorhang. Sollte man wissen. Ansonsten Personal sehr freundlich, Sven und seine Freundin sind sehr kompetent und haben oft nachgefragt ob alles ok ist und jederzeit geholfen.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Seaview Resort for 3 nights. We had a fan bungalow. The hotel staff gave us great advice on where to go and had cheap taxi rates. They booked us a snorkelling excursion and after we had already been picked up and were waiting to get onto the boat, my boyfriend didn't feel well and we decided to go back to the hotel. The hotel didn't charge us for the excursion even though we weren't expecting a refund. We were leaving the next day, so we couldn't book it for another day. They also booked us our boat ride to Koh Samui, and drove us to the pier. Our room had a beautiful view, could see the ocean, and it was only about a 10 minute walk to the beach, and about 15-20 min walk from the 7/11. They had snorkelling equipment you could rent for the day as well. No complaints at all, just be expected to not have flushing toilets. They will also pick you up from the pier when you arrive if you call and make arrangements (otherwise the taxi drivers at the pier will charge you double what the hotel does). Overall a really awesome and trusting resort with great employees.

We absolutely loved our 4 nights at sea view! Our favourite place that we have staying in the whole of Thailand! The staff were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. The hotel is up in the hills with fabulous sea views so we hired one of the many mopeds they have there for the 4 days, it was very cheap and the manager told us where the good beaches were! The food was great, we had dinner one night and breakfast all four mornings! The staff also allowed us to have late check out as we were getting the overnight ferry to Surat Thani. They could not do enough for us! If/when I go back to Koh Tao, as it was so beautiful, I will be staying here as it was FAB. My partner and I loved it!

This place is stunning. if you are unfit and cant climb...you will be out of breath by step 3. it is in a mountain for real. the view is absolutely stunning from the rooms. I did not like the bathrooms, you have to throw water into the Lu and kind flush it but continuously throwing water in the toilet. The room does not get cleaned daily, and that is a problem for me. the resort is 200m from the beach-get a scooter if you go. I walked there and back and let me tell you in the blazing sun it is harsh up a mountain. Sven is the manager there and he speaks fluent English he is extremely knowledgeable and can direct you to anywhere you want to go, he also give you ideas on what to do and where to explore. the food is excellent at this place, drinks are doubled in price...go past a seven11 and buy your own. staff are friendly, Owner of the place is superb...I really enjoyed my stay,. we hired a scooter and had to pay 3500bhat for a few scratches and a crack or something...be very careful when hiring and always photograph the scooters, I didn't even look or my friend didn't and I suppose if they say it is so then it is.

Отель расположен в восточной части острова,равноудален от пляжей Сай Даенг,Тиан, Леук,сравнительно недалеко от Таноте.Домики расположены на склоне горы, с веранды открывается отличный вид на джунгли и бухту Ао Леук.Мы жили в стандарте,комната небольшая , но уютная, с балконом.Пол деревянный,приятно ходить босиком,вентилятор-нам его хватало,ночью даже не включали.Душ с горячей водой,хорошее постельное белье,над кроватью москитная сетка,но в ней не нуждались,комаров и мошек не наблюдалось.Персонал доброжелательный,бесплатно довозят от пирса и увозят на пирс.Территория ухоженная.Цветущие кустарники, извилистые дорожки,валуны на склоне,такие естественные альпийские горки,все сделано со вкусом.Этот отель понравится любителям природы и романтикам, тусовщикам он не подойдет.Пешие прогулки до пляжей требуют определенной физической подготовки.Спуски и подъемы очень крутые,ездить до пляжей на мотобайке без навыков такого вождения рискованно.

Dopo aver preso i nostri dati passaporto etc., ci hanno comunicato che la nostra stanza era in un altro albergo..ci hanno portato in una struttura in costruzione, con le camere parzialmente arredate e l'impianto elettrico non completato. Per non parlare della sporcizia nei corridoi (calcinacci e polvere ovunque). Avevamo prenotato camera deluxe vista mare con colazione e ci siamo ritrovati in un dormitorio in costruzione vista muro senza colazione. Stay far away!

Very far from the sea. We had a superior bungalow. Could not use the nice looking bathtub because it was leaking and the water run out. Breakfest was small and included only one cup on coffee, second cup you had to pay. You can rent a scooter from hotel, but in our case the tire went broke after 1h and we had to push to scooter back to hotel. They offered us a delivery to town so that we can rent a new scooter. When we were checking out we had to pay fee of the scooter use and also the delivery to town. Service was not very good. Room cleaning only 1 time in 4 days.

Essere accolti da Steve con un "welcome welcome" ogni mattina è un toccasana...se poi questo accade sulla magnifica isola di Koh Tao il benessere aumenta. Comodi i bungalow con terrazza vista mare e un'amaca privata dove godersi la brezza della sera. Ottimo punto da cui partire per esplorare l'isola. Buona anche la proposta del ristorante.

I rented a standard room with partial view of the ocean close to the road. The room was roomy and comfortable, A/C, balcony with two chairs and a table, hammock, large bathroom. Clean. The mattress was somewhat hard, as is typical in Thailand. The location is a bit out of town, quiet on top of a hill and a ways from the beach - ae Lok (sp?) bay is the closest and it has awesome snorkeling. Renting a moped is a must for this place but it's only a 5 minute ride down to town and the ferry. Steve, the Danish guy who runs the place is a sweetheart and atmosphere at the place was relaxed and collegial. Steve was extremely helpful and dug out some snorkeling gear for me to borrow in Aeo Lok Bay, gave me a ride to town, and told me where to find the best and least expensive fruit stand and good food. The food at the Seaview restaurant was also very good. Like most places on Ko Tao, there are scuba divers staying at Seaview too but this place is not a scuba-diving resort and the talk around the common area does not revolve around diving.

Bike is a must if you stop at this place, taxis are v expensive for short distances (although resort offers cheaper taxi if available). Overall a nice place to stay & I'd recommend...

Sven is the manager there and he speaks fluent English he is extremely knowledgeable and can direct you to anywhere you want to go, he also give you ideas on what to do and where to explore. the food is excellent at this place, drinks are doubled in price...go past a seven11 and buy your own. staff are friendly, Owner of the place is superb...I really enjoyed my stay,. we hired a scooter and had to pay 3500bhat for a few scratches and a crack or something...be very careful when hiring and always photograph the scooters, I didn't even look or my friend didn't and I suppose if they say it is so then it is.

Отель расположен в восточной части острова,равноудален от пляжей Сай Даенг,Тиан, Леук,сравнительно недалеко от Таноте.Домики расположены на склоне горы, с веранды открывается отличный вид на джунгли и бухту Ао Леук.Мы жили в стандарте,комната небольшая , но уютная, с балконом.Пол деревянный,приятно ходить босиком,вентилятор-нам его хватало,ночью даже не включали.Душ с горячей водой,хорошее постельное белье,над кроватью москитная сетка,но в ней не нуждались,комаров и мошек не наблюдалось.Персонал доброжелательный,бесплатно довозят от пирса и увозят на пирс.Территория ухоженная.Цветущие кустарники, извилистые дорожки,валуны на склоне,такие естественные альпийские горки,все сделано со вкусом.Этот отель понравится любителям природы и романтикам, тусовщикам он не подойдет.Пешие прогулки до пляжей требуют определенной физической подготовки.Спуски и подъемы очень крутые,ездить до пляжей на мотобайке без навыков такого вождения рискованно.

Altro che camera deluxe! Dopo aver preso i nostri dati passaporto etc., ci hanno comunicato che la nostra stanza era in un altro albergo..ci hanno portato in una struttura in costruzione, con le camere parzialmente arredate e l'impianto elettrico non completato. Per non parlare della sporcizia nei corridoi (calcinacci e polvere ovunque). Avevamo prenotato camera deluxe vista mare con colazione e ci siamo ritrovati in un dormitorio in costruzione vista muro senza colazione. Stay far away!

Very far from the sea. We had a superior bungalow. Could not use the nice looking bathtub because it was leaking and the water run out. Breakfest was small and included only one cup on coffee, second cup you had to pay. You can rent a scooter from hotel, but in our case the tire went broke after 1h and we had to push to scooter back to hotel. They offered us a delivery to town so that we can rent a new scooter. When we were checking out we had to pay fee of the scooter use and also the delivery to town. Service was not very good. Room cleaning only 1 time in 4 days.

Essere accolti da Steve con un "welcome welcome" ogni mattina è un toccasana...se poi questo accade sulla magnifica isola di Koh Tao il benessere aumenta. Comodi i bungalow con terrazza vista mare e un'amaca privata dove godersi la brezza della sera. Ottimo punto da cui partire per esplorare l'isola. Buona anche la proposta del ristorante.

I rented a standard room with partial view of the ocean close to the road. The room was roomy and comfortable, A/C, balcony with two chairs and a table, hammock, large bathroom. Clean. The mattress was somewhat hard, as is typical in Thailand. The location is a bit out of town, quiet on top of a hill and a ways from the beach - ae Lok (sp?) bay is the closest and it has awesome snorkeling. Renting a moped is a must for this place but it's only a 5 minute ride down to town and the ferry. Steve, the Danish guy who runs the place is a sweetheart and atmosphere at the place was relaxed and collegial. Steve was extremely helpful and dug out some snorkeling gear for me to borrow in Aeo Lok Bay, gave me a ride to town, and told me where to find the best and least expensive fruit stand and good food. The food at the Seaview restaurant was also very good. Like most places on Ko Tao, there are scuba divers staying at Seaview too but this place is not a scuba-diving resort and the talk around the common area does not revolve around diving.

Bike is a must if you stop at this place, taxis are v expensive for short distances (although resort offers cheaper taxi if available). Overall a nice place to stay & I'd recommend...
