Simplitel Hotel Phuket

Very good location, very nice people working there, excellent on a budget, clean,comfortable, lots of restaurants next door, enjoyed my stay there very much!

It was a short stay for me, but I was so impressed by the people working at the hotel-very helpful, polite and friendly, the location of the hotel is excellent! I will stay there again.

Abbiamo soggiornato al Simplitel per 5 notti e ci siamo trovati molto bene, il personale è molto gentile, nessuna critica da fare alla struttura! Posizione molto comoda a tutto. Lo consiglio!

Perus siisti hotelli/huone. Erittäin ystävälliset työntekijät. Ravintoloita ja kauppoja lähistöllä joka lähtöön. Rannalle kävelymatka 5-10 min.

Old furniture, shower not working well, bad smell

Abbiamo soggiornato per la prima volta in questo hotel. È andato tutto benissimo, pulizia in camera, disponibilità alla reception, cordialità. Certamente torneremo in futuro. Inoltre è ppsizionato molto bene, spiaggia a 5 minuti e tutti i servizi necessari, appena fuori dall'hotel.

Nice people, bed a bit too hard for us. Super location on a main street of Karon but remains quiet when you take mountain side.

Bra hotell, läget kanon en kort promenad till stranden. Frukosten e väldigt bra, gott å vällagat. Personalen i matsalen super trevliga. Återkommer mer än gärna.

Данный отель мы с женой открыли для себя в 2013 году, и просто в него влюбились. С тех пор, если мы летим в Тайланд, на Карон, то останавливаемся в нём. Нам нравится его расположение, хотя немного далековато до пляжа, но зато все остальное достаточно близко. Рядом ресторан Веранда, где мы обедаем. Мы обычно берём номер с видом на горы, немного дороже, зато спокойно, и ничего не мешает ночному отдыху. Жаль персонал не говорит по русски совсем. Завтраки стандартные, ничего особенного, но и голодными мы не оставались. В общем отель нам нравится. Большие номера, не тесно. Всем хорошего отдыха.

Good location, 10 mins walk to the beach, lots of restaraunt and convenient store around the building. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful.

Hotel value for money and the EFES restaurant on G/F serves TURKISH & RUSSIAN & MEDITERRANEAN & THAI & VEGETARIAN FOODS.The food is great and the restaurant is comfortable, clean and tidy.

The location is excellent; central to everything and with its own minimart downstairs. I have stayed in Karon many, many times before; including at the Simplitel in 2013. The hotel then was new and was at a premium price. However the stay was far cheaper this time around - possibly due to the downturn in the tourism market - but the level of cleanliness was still excellent. THE STAFF Reception and Cleaning staff were superb. All smiles and professionalism across the board. However, on the second morning I went down for breakfast and was asked my room number, which I duly gave and went to the well-appointed buffet. As I was putting some bread in the toaster, I get manhandled around by the waiter and he shouts, "No! Stop!" "I beg your pardon." He points at my room number on his sheet and it says "RO" - Room Only. I'd thought I'd paid - as I had done for two rooms back in 2013 - for the included breakfast. Oops! "Sorry!" - said in Thai. As I start to walk away, feeling a bit sheepish, an older man comes into the dining room and yells at me from ten feet and getting closer, "Get out! You not pay! No food! Get out!" Now, far from being embarrassed, I'm fuming. How dare he? A simple mistake; I'd already apologised and was walking out. Now I'm red with rage. But still walking and not acknowledging the older man. I live in Thailand and have learned how to keep a "cool heart" as the Thais say. I don't know if I'll stay again. But I definitely won't include breakfast!

Great location, only 5 minute walk to beach. Friendly staff, clean and simple hotel. Great value for price. We got Mountain View, room 612. It was nice. Good restaurants nearby. Didn’t try breakfast here, went down to check it out but options were limited. Overall great value stay, would def recommend n would stay again

Clean, comfortable and welcoming hotel. Staff are friendly, food at breakfast was delicious, facilities were clean and cozy. This is a simple hotel (hence the name) but with all there is to do on Phuket, you don’t spend too much time inside and that’s why this place is perfect. Great location!!

Great place, simple but clean and modern. My room was very spacious. Staff was helpful, but the language barrier was tricky. I arrived a day late, and warned them twice by email and text, but nobody seemed to know about it and it took awhile to find my reservation. Besides that, great stay!

Mixed feeling on this one. Choose this hotel because of it's location. Service was very good. Sleep was comfortable but water from the tap had a terrible smell.
