I stayed at this property for two nights. I was very unhappy with the room that they assigned me. It was on the first floor, and the ONLY room that absolutely anyone in the lobby could observe, as I could see my room door from the check in desk. No privacy at all, and the elevator was directly across (only 6 ft) from my room door. I would either charge much less for the room per night as compensation, or make it a break room for the employees and call it a day. I asked for a different room, almost from the time I laid eyes on the door, but was told they had no other rooms. I dealt with it the first night, but early the next morning it became very loud as customers were checking out or eating breakfast. Now, based on location and noisiness, I again asked the front desk if I could switch rooms. She informed me that they had no other rooms available. I then asked if I could go ahead and check out and get paid back for that second night and move to a different place. She said that she had no authority to give me my money back. I asked to speak to the manager. There is no manager that works there on site from what I can tell. I asked her to ask the manager for my money back. She refused. She gave me a business card with an email address. I then called Expedia, to get moved to a new property. I could get no help from the customer service rep who handled my call. It was a very frustrating experience for me.
