Copley Square Hotel, a FOUND Hotel

My flight was cancelled due to severe weather, and I tried multiple times to contact the hotel to update them. Unfortunately, no one answered the phone, and there was no option to leave a voicemail. When my travel agent reached someone at around 11am, they were told that the hotel’s policy does not allow cancellations—even for weather-related disruptions beyond a guest’s control. Despite the situation, the hotel marked my reservation as a “no-show” and charged me a rate higher than the original package price.

Great place to stay!

Staff was wonderful and so helpful. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Only "complaint" is lack of counter space in bathroom. But there were two shelves below the sink that made it workable. It was especially helpful that they held my bags for me after checkout so that I could enjoy the day without dragging them around the city. Will definitely stay here again next time I am in town.

Way too many unexpected fees, no coffee maker in the room, phone, or microwave.

The only minor issue was finding it. Look for the Huge Copley Square sign and you are great!!! Logan express from the airport will take you to Back Bay at no cost. Then you just had a short walk to the hotel. Amazing place

It is located in a perfect location and the hotel was able to accommodate all of our requests. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were perfect mix of modern and old Boston feel. I will return!

Super location

The bed was comfortable. The view out the window was awful, dead zone in between wings of the building. The elevators were not working. The ventilation/air conditioning system in the room was annoyingly noisy. The common areas are rather lame, very dated looking. But considering that hotel rooms under $200 a night scarcely exist in Boston anymore, this place might fill your needs

Copley square is an amazing place to stay at in Boston! Located near so many amazing places to eat and shop!!!

Kind of small and bathroom smelled a bit musty, but comfy bed and very artsy

The hoteliers were very friendly, and the rooms were clean. Most of all, it was convenient because it was close to the shopping center.

Great front desk staff, esp at night

Loved being able to walk to Newbury St! Our hotel room was spacious with the coolest retro fridge! Coffee and hot water were located downstairs, which was nice to have available.

Great location, great bed linens … however: 1. I booked a Studio King room for 5 nights, and it had specific pics of this room displayed on their website. I also wrote to them 4-5 days prior before paying and checking in to the hotel asking if we could get the room with bay windows on each side of the bed ie. lots of sunlight, hence the extra charge. They wrote back, guaranteeing me that I would receive this particular type of room. Upon arrival, I was informed that there were several types of 300 sq ft King Studio rooms and that they could not promise me anything, despite already having done so in writing. In the end, I was not given what was promised in writing. 2. Two elevators - one not working, the second one very slow and sketchy. We ended up taking the stairs everyday from 5th floor. 3. They claim they have a bar/lounge and restaurant. They do not, it belongs to another entity and when you wish to bring your glass or bottle of vine upstairs to your hotel room, it will be in a coffee cup. Also, there is no room service nor an option to make your own coffee/tea in your own room. You have to go downstairs to first floor where there is a common room with a coffee machine and vending machines. 3. We had stains on walls in bathroom for all 5 nights staying there. I guess details are not important. 4. We informed the reception downstairs that the bathtub tap was leaking, it was not dealt with. 5. It has a significant smell/odor throughout the corridors and room itself.

Location is great mile walk from Fenway Park. A lot of restaurants in walking distance

Front desk evening staff was excellent. Two younger men. Both were awesome!
