I booked a 3-day, 2-night stay here and was very disappointed with the experience.
From the start, the lobby felt uncomfortably warm and damp. The hallways and my room smelled strongly of septic, mildew, and wet mop, so bad that I had to buy air freshener just to tolerate the stay.
The front desk informed me that only valet parking was available at $50 per day, which is extremely overpriced. For that cost, the service should be excellent. Most of the valet attendants were great, but the one female valet had an attitude with me, which made the experience even more frustrating.
The pool was open but very small, and although the depth was marked at 3 ft, it was actually closer to 4 ft. The pool area itself was moldy and not well maintained. In the room, there was no bathroom trash can (very inconvenient, especially for disposing of feminine products), no fridge, no microwave, barely any lighting, and several outlets didn’t work. We were only given two bath towels for a 3-day stay with two people, and when I tried to call the front desk for more, the hotel phone went unanswered.
The balcony was closed “due to a statewide issue,” which felt misleading when booking.
Looking back, I really wish I had read more reviews before booking. I only considered the price, and even then, it was way too expensive for the experience we had. The hotel was poorly maintained, inconsistent in service, and not worth the cost. I would not recommend staying here until serious improvements are made.
