Days Inn by Wyndham Pocatello University Area

It needs updated, windows need cleaned/replaced.

I hate to ever say anything negative, but the hotel is not in very good shape. It was fine for a of couple nights but it was pretty run down.

Ah, Days Inn. Where every amenity is a gamble and the only consistent thing is regret. I recently had the misfortune of spending one night at this particular location—if you can call it that—and I’ve genuinely had better nights sleeping in a car during a thunderstorm. Let’s begin with the front door. Or rather, the lack of a room number on it. Finding my room felt like a bad escape room challenge designed by someone who hates people. After trying a few doors like a burglar on a quest for self-harm, I eventually landed on the right one—only to discover the key didn’t work. Not once, but twice. I got to enjoy two scenic round trips to the front desk while carrying my bags and my will to live. When I finally did get inside, I was immediately greeted by the aroma of sadness and mildew. The carpets looked like they’d hosted a frat party for swamp creatures. Stained, sticky, and the color of old soup—nothing screams “luxury” like mystery fluids in high-traffic areas. Then came the bathroom, where any optimism I had left went to die. Two out of three lightbulbs were missing, casting just enough dim light to make you wonder what diseases you might be contracting. The sink and shower were actively growing new life forms, and the water pressure was more of a light spit. Honestly, I’ve seen cleaner setups in horror movies. But wait—there’s more! The room hadn’t even been fully cleaned. Trash from the previous guest was still lounging around like it had paid for a second night. Empty

Really run down and some funky smells

The property was clean but could use some paint. The beds and pillows were comfortable and everything worked well. The breakfast was a small continental breakfast but we were able to find enough to eat.

Clean and courteous

The manager was very friendly, and helped us out by receiving a package for us. The facility was undergoing remodel, so although their were needed repairs, I think it will be fixed soon. The location was very convenient to the fine arts building we were visiting at ISU.

This kinda of hotel doesn’t need to be charging what they did for the quality you get. The staff was good but I felt very uncomfortable the entire stay, like I was living in the ghetto, even though the surrounding area was nice.

Great place to stay while visiting family. Clean friendly affordable and comfortable

Not good. After booking i called to make sure an ada unit would be reserved for me because I would have my brother, who is wheelchair bound, with me. I was assured I would, but there was nothing put in the system that I had called them. Also, very limited parking was available so I had to park on the street. The room was cramped, uncomfortable and the bathroom was too small and not in good working condition.

Stayed here one night on a road trip. The check-in was fast and the room was easy to find with plenty of parking. Room was as expected. I did appreciate the large TV (55" ?). Room was clean and bed was confortable. I had dinner at Elmer's Restaurant next door, good meal and good service. I was able to walk to a grocery store for some snacks. The price of the hotel was in my budget and met all my expectations.

It is a great location right across from the ISU campus. However, parking it's very limited in the front and very small spaces. There were only stairs that we found to take our luggage upstairs. The room had several holes in the entertainment center/ dresser and ledge separating the sink from the living area needed to be replaced as it looked like some one had been chewing on it or picking it apart. The toilet also ran all night long.

Great stay

I appreciated the price and friendliness of the staff. I also liked the texting updates and easy check in and out. On the down side: room smelled bad, sink would not completely drain, shower was cold. At breakfast the waffle mix was super thin and tasted spoiled.

Comfortable bed. Furniture and bathroom threshold need maintenance. Good breakfast. Waffle maker, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, oj, pasteries, etc.
