Motel 6 Carlsbad, CA - East

Floors was very dirty, beds hard and flat in spots and quite uncomfortable. Dead spiders on the bathroom floor. The check in person wasn’t very hospitable and forgot to give us the parking tag. The housekeeping chased me down to see if we needed towels and I’ll say that was the nicest person I’ve dealt with. Other than that it’s just a place to rest your head. No phone, blow dryer, the outlets in the night stand didn’t work.

This place was gross. Roaches crawling near my toddler as he slept. We got up and left. And they didn’t want to refund me

Great rooms , clean

Incredibly noisy AC. Noisy Noisy refrigerator. Constant freeway noise. Garbage truck with backup beeps every AM at 6.55am. Useless TV with crappy crappy picture, mostly spanish channels. No coffee/also no coffemaker. No clock radio. One (1) chair in the room. Nice pool area -- but always locked up, room key doesn't open it. One ice machine, a long long walk from our room in back. Very tight parking. Stayed 5 nights -- room never checked or cleaned. OK mattress, OK wifi. Staff very cheerful and polite, if you can find them.

Everything was fine, checking in, the room was clean, the attendant however after hours on august 31st accused me of scamming because my card would not open the door, he never would check why but after the 3rd time he called the police and told me to do the same, to find out the magnet in my wallet was turning the card off, instead he was cussing and accusing me of "scamming some how" he walked away the last time i needed help as well, terrible service, i will never be going back to that motel again.

Good enough. The location is amazing for Legoland. The bed and pillows are really hard. There are zero toiletries furnished, just hand soap. Towels are super small and there is no coffee maker in the room. But I would stay here again just for the location and price. Room was not that clean

My entire trip had to be canceled. The first room had roaches, and the reassigned room was next to an individual that was under the influence of controlled substance and making a scene. It was unsafe for me and my family to stay at that hotel. It got to the point that the police were called. It was Labor Day weekend so all the other properties were booked. Had to cancel my trip. Hotel refused to issue a refund. Hoping that Expedia will make this right. I filed complaints with hotel manager, county health department, and next will be case in small claims court. I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS PROPERTY AT ALL. They false advertise

As far as Motel 6 goes I would say one of the best!! Nice area and very clean rooms.

The rooms are good and clean

Unfortunately the refrigerator was dirty as well as the floor. The show was rusted and had a bad smell from the drain. OMG all night long we heard the dog next to us barking and running all around the room. Let say I was out by 8am. Never again at this location

Very basic room. No shampoo or conditioner. Crowded parking. Dated interior.

Scott was professional and polite, but could not find my Expedia reaervation. I did show my email confirmation, but he still could not help me. VERY dissapointed with the service from both Wxpedia and Motel 6!
