Travelodge by Wyndham Cleveland Lakewood

This was the dirtiest hotel I've ever been in. Stained sheets, bugs crawling around, somebody put a plastic bag over the smoke detector, the air conditioner didn't work, there was no screen in the window, etc.... it was probably cleaner after i left, since i cleaned up the tables the air conditioner and the window sills.

Booking this hotel so close to Lake Erie and the beach was the reason that we made the reservation. Upon entering the facility, the stale smoke smell permeated the lobby and hall as well as dealing with the dazed and confused counter attendant was pretty off-putting start to our stay in our 1st-ever trip to Cleveland. Dragging our luggage up the stairs (there's no elevator, folks!) and entering the dirty, musty hallway was just another demerit on the property. Entering the room, now that was bad! The carpet was so dirty and moldy. Both the microwave and refrigerator had food/drink residue from previous stays. Both bed comforters had stains on them. There were empty bottles and cans found under the bed as well as a lighter with other trash. The bathroom...equally as bad. Hair all over the baseboards and in the corners. Both the tub and the toilet had a ring around it. We had to go...after over 5 minutes. The desk clerk was again, nowhere to be found and when she arrived offered no help to resolve our refund. Manager and General manager can only be contacted via e-mail and not responded in over a week to numerous attempts. The hotel took our hard-earned money, kept our hard-earned money and offered no help in the matter. I repeat...DO NOT STAY HERE!

Ga e is a room that was alredy occupied. Filty halls with trash and rubber gloves in the halls. Room had dirty floors, non working tv, double door handles and locks. We stayed for about and hour and left to get out of there. Griss. Would never recommend

It was the most reasonable price I could find. The property is run-down and dirty. The room was acceptability clean

The room was dirty. The bedding sheets was dirty the shower curtain was dirty holes in the walls paint was also coming off the walls the air conditioning was not working over all I would not recommend this place to anyone.

When we checked in the woman didnt tell us what our room number was, where the ice machine was, about breakfast and treated is like we were stupid when we asked if the room was on the second floor. Once we got into the room the carpet was filthy, there were still marks by the tv of drnks that had gotten warm and dripped all over. Someone also smoked in the room before us. There was a juice cap on the a/c unit that was full of ash and ash all over the a/c unit. The room was so warm when we got in i turned the a/c on and cleaned up the ash. I didnt want to get blamed for someone smoking in there when I have never smoked in my life. We left to get dinner and let the room cool down. It didnt at all, so we left to go to a concert and the room STILL hadn't cooled down when we came back. There was also no soap in the bathroom and barely any toilet paper. The inside of the tub had bugs in it as well. I washed that out with the shampoo before I showered the next morning. I dont think the room had been cleaned at all, just bed made and towels put in there.

A Dehumanizing Atrocity: Avoid Travelodge Cleveland Lakewood at All Costs Travelodge Cleveland Lakewood Review (1/5 Stars) My recent stay at the Travelodge Cleveland Lakewood, necessitated by a flight cancellation, was a dehumanizing and insulting ordeal. I wouldn't have stayed here under any other circumstance, but I was absolutely stuck in the middle of the night with a child in tow and no other accommodation was available in the area for booking. This establishment has absolutely no regard for basic hygiene or safety standards, and it is frankly unfit for human habitation. From the moment I arrived, the pervasive smell of dampness and filth in both the lobby and the room was deeply unsettling. The conditions were an atrocity, and the cost of $197 for this single night only compounds the insult. The lack of cleanliness was staggering and egregious. The carpets in the room were disgustingly dirty, with visible debris and grime covering the floor. The bedding, horrifyingly, had pubic hair on it, confirming the linens had not been properly cleaned. In the sink, I found a repulsive clump of hair. The walls were stained with grotesque wetness marks. The room was also a clear safety hazard. Dilapidated furniture and broken, antiquated lamps were present, but most alarming was the exposed, random wire sticking out from under the bed. I have meticulously recorded and photographed these appalling conditions. This Travelodge is a disgrace and a severe violation of customer standards.

Hotel was very sketchy with a lot of undesirable people around. Checked in and room was dirty with a used condom on floor, pizza boxes on bed, blood stains on carpet. Staff asked us if we wanted another hotel as she could tell me and my dad didnt belong.

We had problems with our key cards to get into the room. We tried 3 rooms, and they each had problems. I wouldnt recommend staying here.

The area is nice but the property is not well maintained.

The customer service was great! Cleanliness and upkeep needs a lot of work. We checked in at 1:45am, opened the door to our room, the room was 90degrees and had a bad smell. We turned the air on right away. Went into the bathroom to find it very dirty. Ring around the toilet, no toilet paper, nasty toe nail clippings on the floor. They switched us to a different room where the air conditioner didn't work that well. We decided to go back to the original room so we could at least sleep in air conditioning. We would have went to a different hotel but we were so tired from driving from Chicago so we toughed it out. Hotels.com i think you should do better with selections that aren't this bad.

The rooms was very dirty. The bed was not done and the sink was full and block. They don't have any other room so i send us at a another hotel 20 mins far away from the city.

Not clean. I saw my room and immediately left and booked a room somewhere else.

This property was disgusting. Bugs at the entrance and in the room. The staff was asleep when we walked in. We were there in the evening. Not in the middle of the night. We asked for refund and they will not honor it. We walked into the room and immediately checked out. We could not stay there.

Property was disgusting I tried to cancel but Travelocity would not let me. Paid 154 and could not stay at this disgusting place. I will never use Travelocity again. Thanks for nothing.
