Grand old manor house, which makes for a quirky hotel. Clean rooms, great shower, lots of parking... not far from the village of Shifnal, which has an array of restaurants... and extremely convenient for Telford, where we attended a conference. Will be re-booking for next year's event!

Having stayed every year for 6 or 7 years at Haughton Hall it has become apparent that hotel needs urgent care . The halways smell musty carpets in bedroom dirty bath taps need sorting and rooms need a good paint. Leisure centre has been painted around pool and tiles replaced but changing rooms need urgent care

Receptionist boardering on rude when checking in- no details given for anything other than breakfast time. We had to ask about gym/pool/towels/location of breakfast room etc- felt we were an inconvenience Sash window in bathroom did not work with a large hole in woodwork & glass loose Mould around tiles in shower area of bath Temperature control on shower loose so unable to control temperature correctly Dirty seal at base of shower door Curtain hanging off pole in bedroom No chefs available at lunchtime - This was not advised at check in. Inside of all sash windows extremely dirty Overall appearance of building inside & out dirty & not maintained at all.

Great value for money hotel (with pool and spa pool).

Very disappointed, will not be stayng again. The hotel is in desperate need of a lot of tlc. Everywhere looked tired & extremely dated. My room (20) the four poster bedroom was very dated, dirty, hadn't been cleaned properly for a long time. Dirty tissues behind the bed, bottle tops on the floor, layer of dust around the skirting boards. No room service, the towels werent replaced, no one attended the room. When i pulled the plug out of the bath the water took ages to drain away, the bathroom and bedroom stank of sewage. The pool again was dirty, the showers didnt work properly and the changong rooms were dark, the light bulbs needed replacing.

Decent room, good pool and sauna.

Hotel is in need of updating, staff helpful and friendly albeit seems a little short staffed. Enjoyed gym and pool for exercising.

Quite possibly one of the most rundown and dirty properties I have been to.

I was surprised our room was not located in the main building but in an annex, accessed by a narrow staircase whuch curved.

Basically I booked and paid for an executive room and was initially given a room reserved for travelling workmen!

The hotel requires huge investment. My room had black mold and large damp patches on the walls. The bathroom window frame was broken and had a hole in it allowing the rain and wind to blow through. The food was expensive, service slow and was of poor quality. The shower was either cold or extremely hot, hence I burnt my back in the shower. On check out, waited 15 mins and no staff showed up. Will never stay in this poor excuse of an hotel again. It’s disgusting!

Utterly awful. Filthy! Like...needs an inspection filthy. Rude, unhelpful staff, no wifi in room, antiquated, charged £20 more for a bed for a 'sleeps 4' room, unserstaffed, dated, AWFUL!!!!

Lovely hotel in its heyday! So sad to see it rather run down. The staff are excellent and probably spend a fair bit of time apologising for the things that are not working or not available. Come on owners help your staff!

Unfortunately stayed here for daughters wedding arrived late in night room 30 no heating on freezing cold bed felt damp the next day tryed using shower Unfortunately shower was faulty as only boiling water came out couldn't have shower unless i got burned and went to a and e aswell reported it staff didn't do anything except say sorry or offer any help to solve problems and tbf not cheap to stay there so Unfortunately first time there never again beware

Windows in the bedroom and bathroom were very dirty, the hotel is very “ tired “ and needs a lot of money spending on it.
