Location was great...room was clean and staff were great...close to everything..👍

The only positive comment I can give this hotel is the location is great. Location location location. The beds are small, the rooms tight, the care and upkeep is horrible. The place needs paint and repair. Light bulbs not working in need of replacing, limited showering supplies. The bathroom was so tight, you had to side sit on the toilet. Everything creeps and creaks. Supplies left out in boxes outside in hall ways. The ac in our room was quite noisy in an unusual way. Would not recommend.

L'information reçue par courriel concernant le check-in était utile et concis. Aspect à améliorer : Les joints en silicone dans la douche étaient noircis par la moisissure. Moisissures également present au plafond de la douche. La fan de douche n'était pas fonctionnel et un support à serviette près de l'évier n'était pas fixé solidement.

Very Small and expensive if I compare with others travels I have done.

The communication with us was excellent from the point of booking on. Although the room we were originally booked in had a plumbing (we discovered upon arrival), we made a quick call and Rodney appeared and very helpfully switched us to another room. The building is ‘vintage’ and clearly in need of some repairs, but the room was clean enough and the property was excellently positioned for us to explore Old Quebec. I wish we’d had a bit more time! Heads up that many of the rooms are up a flight or two of stairs.

Comfortable room with bathtub and shower Clean with a great location. Quiet building No elevator but I found the stairs weren’t a problem for me and I stayed on the top floor

This is the first time we use a virtual reception. But all is good since you can just run across the street at Acadia Hotel if you have questions. And the staff there is very helpful. Parking is not very clear. They should have map out the parking area. If there is an available parking spot at the back, they should have put a sign or save a spot for the guests. But other than that, all is good. It’s a good walk to the garage parking. Everything else is close by. We had a good walk around the area.

It was ok for the price. The sink was in with the bed not the bathroom which was weird. No staff on site. Pretty quiet which was nice.

The location was great, in old Quebec, right next to fabulous restaurants. Rooms could be a bit more taken care of.

Our room was nice enough. We.could not get the TV to work. When using our hair dryer, the plug in sparked. Our bathroom was disgusting. There was mold growing on the ceiling and all around the trim of the shower. There is no fan in the bathroom. There is no airflow in the room. Over the days there Our room became so humid that all of our stuff was damp and wouldn't dry. We never had our room cleaned. We ran out of toliet paper on day 1 and had to search the property for some as well as find our own clean towels. There is no receptionist in the building so there is no one there to ask for items when needed.

No AC in the room and staff didn't seem to care about turning it on or getting a fan. The room was hot and we couldn't sleep. Window didn't have a screen on it either so we couldn't open it overnight. Also, make sure you factor paying for parking as hotel parking is never available for travelers to use. I wouldn't come back here

This is a nice hotel in a good location. We arrived late so it was self check in, there were no staff around. The staff did answer quickly and were friendly when we called. The room was clean, however the air conditioner was very loud when it ran. The bathrooms are not updated, but I guess that's the charm of the place. The downside is that you have to park a couple of blocks away from the hotel.

Pour le prix que nous avons payé considérant la localisation exceptionnelle, c'était parfait. Sinon, je ne choisirais pas ce type d'hébergement en temps normal. C'est vieillot, la télécommande pour la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas et il y avait des meubles endommagés. Gros Bonus par contre! Le lit était super confortable. Il s'agit d'un hôtel sans personnel à la réception ce qui est un peu unique. Les communications avec l'hôtel étaient très fluides et le processus d'enregistrement et de départ étaient très faciles. Une expérience d'une nuit ok...mais je ne resterais pas là pour un séjour plus long ( par exemple 2 jours ou plus). Qualité/Prix = ok

The room had comfortable bed and pillows, it was clean and had all amenities I needed. Highly recommend. Great value for money. Walk to everything Quebec City has to offer from this location.

Two frustrating things about this place-- 1) - no staff around to help when there are questions. Phoning for assistance is not an ideal solution. 2) parking - the place is advertised as having a very small parking lot right behind the building. There were 4 empty spaces when we arrived but after "phoning" for assistance, we were informed that we had to park at a city parking lot about 4 blocks away. These spaces were being saved for their sister hotel across the street. In the morning, those "saved" spaces were still empty. The room itself was okay - beds were comfortable and clean but the shower had no floor mat and it was like standing on slippery ice. There was no place to put down the soap, or deal with shampoo etc except to leave it on the floor of the shower and bend over and pick it up every time you wanted to rinse off. Electrical plugs had been tampered with and plugs fell out easily. Friends were on the 4th floor and their room was not in great shape either. If the place is being renovated then get it done before renting it out to unsuspecting travelers. Sorry to be so negat
