I understand this is an older motel, but the cleanliness was lacking. Bathroom toilet seat looked like it had a stain on it, it actually looked like rust? but when I wet some toilet paper and wiped it, it actually wiped off! my guess it was blood? I think better cleaning especially in the bathroom is needed. Otherwise location was good right close to the beach.

Everything, we had great communication with the staff, got is in the room we requested . It was clean and everone was great. I highly recommend this accomidations in penticton vacation. The location , the staff, the facilities outstanding . And the lake view , was excellent, we had 2 fur babies that we brought and great location for walking your pet, or even if you want long breathtaking walks, and watching the birds on the skaha lake. Just so lovely. We would stay there again . Thanks so much to staff at waterfront hotel! JOB WELL DONE.😁

Great stay

We had no view of the lake. We had to climb a flight of stairs and then negotiate a long outdoor hallway with tarps and buckets along the way. Also some blackout curtains would be nice.

Check in was easy. And patio & bbq area was very nice! Room was dated and bed was rock hard. The smoke detector battery was low and was beeping from 1am on, when I asked at check out about a bit of a refund since I wasn’t able to sleep all night and the noise was making my dog go crazy, they told me I should’ve called their emergency number which I only saw posted at their office door that was one property over and i didn’t take down at check in. So I got no resolution and wouldn’t stay there again.

True review! Not clean. Flies and mosquitoes welcomed us when we get in. Fridge is not clean there was a marked of spilled food.

The hotel is called waterfront, but I ended up with a room, not looking at the water. All the room is clean. It is very dated. The bed was awful and I did complain the hotel clerk and she said she would make a note of it. I would not recommend This place no shampoo, no hand soap nothing given out.

Yes

This hotel sits directly across from a large park area with lots of grass and an off leash area for dogs. On the other side of the park is the beach and direct water access. The park is beautiful and well maintained so this is an excellent location. The room is large and has a separate bedroom area and a full kitchen. There is a TV in both the kitchen/living room area and another in the bedroom. I was travelling with dogs and it was very convenience for them as well. I will definitely stay here again next I am coming through Penticton.

Quiet

We upgraded to unit 117; it had a full kitchen, bedroom and a room with a sofa couch, table and 4 chairs ; the hotel is outdated on the outside but the inside, some things were renovated; the best is the proximity to the beach with a long path to go for a walk; at the end of the walk there is a restaurant/pub for meals

The location is great. Park and Skaha lake beach are across the street. The hotel is outdated but it looks like they renovated certain things; stayed in unit 117, very spacious, full kitchen and one bedroom with 2 beds and 2 windows.

Was a great place to stay.

This is an older property (the decor is dated, but spotlessly clean), at a fabulous location right next to a beautiful treed park and the beach at Skaha Lake. We chose it mainly for the location, but the motel turned out to be perfect for our needs. There is a full kitchen - range, sink, fridge, and microwave. Outside each unit is a sitting area with a table and four chairs (I suspect that the upstairs units’ outdoor areas are somewhat smaller than those of the ground floor units). We ate breakfast outside each day, and had our own happy hour outside as well. It’s a one-minute walk to the beautiful beach. Hopefully we’ll be able to return again next year!

The staff was very pleasant, the room was clean, however the bed was terribly uncomfortable. We could feel springs in our back:(

Clean and comfortable , bed very high and pillows hard coffee maker not working . but enjoyed our stay and close to the lake
