My stay at this property was unfortunately not what I expected based on the listing.
The check-in process was confusing and uncomfortable. We were asked to notify the host 30 minutes before arrival, which we did, but still ended up waiting a significant time with our belongings. The unit is not managed by the hotel itself, and the front desk was unable to assist us. A third-party individual eventually arrived with keys to let us in, which did not feel like a secure or standard check-in experience.
The unit itself did not fully match the expectations set by the listing. Additionally, there were safety concerns — one of the dining chairs was unstable with loose legs upon arrival. We avoided using it for that reason, but after checkout we were contacted and told it was broken and may be deducted from our deposit, which has been frustrating to deal with.
Overall, the stay felt disorganized and lacked the level of professionalism and security I would expect when booking through a platform like Expedia. I would recommend that future guests clarify check-in procedures in advance and carefully inspect the unit upon arrival.
