— What You Can Expect —

Rottnest Island, also known as the "Emerald Isla in a Sea of Sapphire, is located 19 km off the mainland coast. It separated from the mainland 7,000 years ago and is now the largest of the chain of islands off the coast of Perth. The stunning, pristine environment has 63 secluded beaches, 20 bays, crystal clear water, fascinating history, the quokka, and more.

Commentary Coach Tour

Learn all about the island's major habitats, including Rottnest's cultural and historical heritage ranging from its maritime and military history to future developments. This 90-minute tour includes must-see wonders of this island, like the Wadjemup Lighthouse, Henrietta Rocks, the majestic lookout point at the rugged Cathedral Rocks, and Cape Vlamingh. This A-class reserve has a relaxed atmosphere and unique features that will leave a lasting impression.

A partial refund is granted to travelers when the itinerary is canceled or changed due to traffic, inclement weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. In case this happens, contact customer service.

Tour participants must arrive 60 minutes before departure for ferry loading requirements and passenger boarding. Due to loading requirements, check-in will close 30 minutes before departure, and boarding will end 15 minutes before departure. Rottnest Fast Ferries reserves the right to refuse passengers from boarding for not complying with the above check-in and boarding times.

For 10:00 am departures, please select your hotel when booking and refer to your voucher for the exact pick-up point.
