07:00-09:00 Participants are picked up and transferred to Ha Nam. On the way, visit a rest stop for breakfast (at own expense).

09:00-11:30 Visit Tam Chuc Pagoda—a sacred temple built with thousands of stone paintings carefully assembled by the talented hands of skilled craftsmen.

Then visit Ngoc (Jade) pagoda. Ngoc Pagoda is located on top of That Tinh mountain, and is one of the main categories of Tam Chuc Pagoda. To be able to admire this temple you will have to pass 200 stone steps. Standing on the Ngoc pagoda, you will be able to admire a vast scene of peace and freedom. Continue to admire the beauty of Tam Bao Palace, Thich Ca Mau Ni Dharma Shrine, Quan Am Temple, and Pillar Garden.

11:30-12:30 Transfer to Van Long wetland nature reserve.

12:30-14:30 Enjoy lunch with local specialties. Then rest up before continuing your journey.

14:30-16:30 Boat along the green canal to visit and see the beautiful scenery of Van Long. This is the largest wetland nature reserve in the Northern Delta. Van Long is known as "the bay without waves" because when sailing on the lagoon, visitors will see the body of water so calm it feels like a giant mirror. The water reflects the strong features of the limestone mountains surrounding the canal. The water surface here is not blue, but tinted deep green with layers of moss from underwater.

The 1-day journey will first take you to the spectacular Tam Chuc Pagoda located in Ha Nam. Surrounded by a myriad of serene lakes and lush forests, Tam Chuc Pagoda looks like a little isle, a spritual haven that has a thousand stories, waiting for you to come to discover.

The journey continues as you travel to Ninh Binh—a place dearly referred to by Vietnamese people as "Ha Long Bay on land," Ninh Binh is Ha Long Bay's more quiet sister, but not any less gorgeous.

Boat along the green canal to discover the beauty of Van Long—the largest wetland nature reserve in the Northern Delta. Sit back on the boat and look up and around you, because you will be surrounded with serene emerald tinted water, gorgeous limestone mountains, blue blue sky, and such exquisite flora and fauna.

Free pickup and drop-off service is only available for hotels located in Hanoi's Old Quarter and Ha Noi opera house

Pickup and drop-off at locations outside the designated area will require an additional charge 150.000 VND. Please provide your location details in the Additional requests section.

Participants can go at APT Office: 7 Hang Chieu Street, Hoan Kiem, 30 minutes before departure time.

Please advise in the Additional requests section if you have request for vegetarian meal, food allergies or any specific dietary requirements.

What to wear

When visiting Tam Chuc Pagoda, participants are strongly advised to wear respectful attire, which entails:

Conservative clothing

Top that covers the shoulders

Bottom that covers the knees and ankle

No shorts for men or short skirt for women
