Our stay in Tamworth was such a pleasant experience. The hospitality at the motel was exceptional country service. Friendly, polite and very welcoming. The room itself was everything you need for an overnight stay. Good quality room, clean but the fridge wasn’t getting cold but we didn’t need it at the time so not a problem for us but maybe for the next person. Easily recommend this place for anyone passing through.

The staff were excellent - friendly and courteous. The room itself smelled a little like a damp mop, but I would put this down to the humid conditions during my stay - there may be value in cleaning the AirCon unit. I was asked my email address so the Tax Invoice could be delivered, and then within 24 hours I had received 4 unsolicited emails from Best Western & the hotel. One of these was received after I had asked the hotel to stop sending them. I had to remind the hotel to send the Tax Invoice,

Traditional comfortable motel, which was great for a one night stay. Good bed in a ground level room. Friendly staff. We didn't eat at the restaurant but had heard it was good. It is on a main road, but we couldn't hear any traffic noise.

The room was well thought out and very nicely presented as well as being clean. Reception staff were great.

Room heating did not work. They offer a room change but they managed to get heating working aftet a while. Bed was clean, but was made up in very strange manner forcing us to remake the bed ourselves to even being able to get into bed. Wanted a cup of tea/coffee but no cutlery except a single knife, no teaspoon, and the tea/coffee/sugar sachets just enough for one cup each, and were not topped up when room serviced. When we returned the next day for a booked 2nd night, we were locked out, forcing yet another trip to reception. Had stayed at this property previously, and quite happy then, but thus stay will give us 2nd thoughts of staying there again. Staff reasonably helpful and friendly, but other issues forced a poor rating. Overall not a good experience.

I have stayed at this property previously and was upgraded to a premium room which was quite nice, as a result of repair work taking place around the hotel. Based on the level of cleanliness I had assumed that the standard rooms would be basic but equally clean and tidy. This was not the case - standard room was terrible. Stained and damaged furniture, curtains stained and discoloured, kettle was full of rust, cutlery was dirty. Overall, far below other, cheaper hotels in town. I raised my concerns with front of house who were most helpful and was upgraded to a premium room, which appeared quite good initially, but the more you look, the more you see amiss. I won't be back.

Staff were great, the accomodation was very clean and the bedding was comfortable.

Picked here as it has pet friendly rooms. Great location close to city centre and a Woolies. Helpful and friendly front desk staff and a good continental breakfast. Highly recommend if you are travelling with a furry family member.

It was unimaginable how noisy it was. I WILL NOT EVER stay here again. If it wasn’t the traffic it was the other guests. My advisory the money and find somewhere else.

Tv didn’t work after staff tried to fix it.

The bed was not comfortable at all and rolled around the floor it had no brakes so every time you turned over it moved. The rooms were not like the pictures online they were quite outdated. You could hear all the trucks down the highway. the room was supposed to be non-smoking but we had to close the bathroom door to prevent smoke coming into our rooms from others. The property was centrally located and the staff were lovely both on reception and in the restaurant and the food was lovely.

Aside from road noise, which is just a fact of life when you're on the main road, it was excellent.

The room did not match the photographs. The room itself had dirty curtains that were falling off the railing. They were not any blackout curtains. The furnishings did not match and the bedside table was completely unstable. There was a service hole that had half fallen out of the roof. I paid for a Queen size bed but only got as double. The bathroom had tiles popping off the wall, there was cracks in architrave, and a combined bath/shower facility that had a cheap plastic curtain attached to a rusted out shower railing. There were no handles or steps for climbing in and out of the bath/shower which has to be a hazard. Again, we were promised first rate consumables that never appeared, but I can say that the body wash matched the shampoo which also matched the hand soap. After the reception I got when I checked in, we were not going to use the restaurant so we went across the road to the Rydges where the staff and experience was the complete opposite. All up, one night cost me $414. Ditch this place - go to the Rydges.
