Couteous and helpful staff but room needs improving, for example repairs needed to a damaged wall, mattress springs worn out on one side of the bed and mini fridge in poor condition.

Staff have no eye for detail and not much experience with customer service. Lunch was very nice.

I really enjoyed staying was a good hospitality understandable stuff.

We had two rooms at this property. The property is very old and requires repairs; holes in walls, peeling paint, broken tiles, broken bathroom fixtures. Blood on the wall in one room. Beds old and not in great condition. Shower drain blocked in one of our two rooms. Bedding and linen clean and fresh. Water was hot. Very limited options in Derby.

The rooms are old, but clean and very helpful staff. My only complaint is the lack of working dryers and washing machines.

Best accommodation in Derby

The drains were blocked in the bathroom. The floor was dirty. The pool did not look swimmable so didn’t risk it. We will not be staying here again. We don’t usually care to much for where we stay, not much bothers us but definitely won’t be back.

Couldn’t get access to property. Had to ring 7 times and ultimately jumped the fence and spoke with another resident to find the manager. Accommodation air cons not on so rooms hot for a long time. White ants in the skirting boards and pool green

I booked 2 rooms on Wednesday 25 September for my husband and me and the second room for an 83 year old gentleman. We were taking him to Derby to visit his old mate who is in a nursing. When we went to pick him up, he was ill and couldn’t go. When we got to Derby, we went immediately to the Boab Inn and explained the situation- they would not give us a refund or even move the booking to a different date. I was told to contact Hotel.com which I did. They said they would contact the owners and get back to me. I have heart nothing- needless to say we are pensioners and can’t afford to throw money away. There was no empathy or compassion! I am extremely disappointed with Hotel.com and the Boab Inn.

No working TV in the room as advertised. We moved room but still the TV was not working. Rooms were in need of maintenance. Reception was quite difficult to get hold of. Would not stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

The property is old but clean and tidy flood damaged skirting boards? Could use some chairs in the room st save sitting on the bed to have a cup of coffee

Good secure parking,. Old but clean rooms. We were well looked after by all staff members. Microwave oven would of been good as lacking in cooking facilities. We stayed 9 nights whilst waiting for caravan repairs. Would stay there again.

A manager who was not there when you needed him. there was no hot water and was told the whole block did not have any why would you still be renting rooms in this situation two phone numbers were given one was an emergancy number both went to mail boxes . Reception was supposed to be open 7am till 10pm manager finally arrived after 12 noon as for the pool non excestant I didn'tsee one.The front door of the unit was rotten at the bottom and the vinyl was lifting the courtyard was ripped up and had to drive around a large hole. This was a total disaster I would not recommend to my worst enemy. Please take this establishment off your books. There is no minus stars to give. There should be. In my opinion it doses not meet minimum standards for any accommodation

Manager was rude and very poor people skills. Absolute terrible manager

The people who worked there were awesome, but the facilities are old and dirty. Cockroaches in my room, and generally untidy

Good location. Grumpy man demander a $200 security deposit. Rooms not very well equiped. Friday night music from the hotel was terrible. Could not watch tv or talk on phone. Music went till after 12.00 then patrons spilled out into car park making a lot of noise till about 2.00
