Room was tidy but floor wasn’t well cleaned. Tap leaked entire time we were there. (Mentioned it on first night).
Staff were polite and friendly. Pool was nice - did our own leaf removal!
Air conditioning was a godsend!

Room was disgusting, had cockroach and mouse droppings in the corners of the room. The door frame was falling apart and on the second day when we opened the door, a piece of the door frame fell down on us. The walls beside the bed were covered in fingerprints and dirt/muck from previous people who had slept in the bed and rubbed up against the wall. The first room we were in had a queen bed and a single, a room designed to accommodate 3 people, however we only had one towel, one coffee cup and one spoon. After the door frame fell apart onto us, we asked to change rooms, we were given a twin room with two single beds, the beds were covered in hairs, and in our second room we only had ONE BLANKET. I’m not sure who the housekeeping team are here, but they really need to use some common sense so that a room made up to fit 3 people don’t have to share one coffee cup and one towel!!!

We had two rooms at this property. The property is very old and requires repairs; holes in walls, peeling paint, broken tiles, broken bathroom fixtures. Blood on the wall in one room. Beds old and not in great condition. Shower drain blocked in one of our two rooms.
Bedding and linen clean and fresh. Water was hot.
Very limited options in Derby.

The drains were blocked in the bathroom.
The floor was dirty.
The pool did not look swimmable so didn’t risk it.
We will not be staying here again. We don’t usually care to much for where we stay, not much bothers us but definitely won’t be back.

Couldn’t get access to property. Had to ring 7 times and ultimately jumped the fence and spoke with another resident to find the manager. Accommodation air cons not on so rooms hot for a long time. White ants in the skirting boards and pool green

I booked 2 rooms on Wednesday 25 September for my husband and me and the second room for an 83 year old gentleman.
We were taking him to Derby to visit his old mate who is in a nursing. When we went to pick him up, he was ill and couldn’t go. When we got to Derby, we went immediately to the Boab Inn and explained the situation- they would not give us a refund or even move the booking to a different date. I was told to contact Hotel.com which I did. They said they would contact the owners and get back to me. I have heart nothing- needless to say we are pensioners and can’t afford to throw money away. There was no empathy or compassion! I am extremely disappointed with Hotel.com and the Boab Inn.

No working TV in the room as advertised. We moved room but still the TV was not working. Rooms were in need of maintenance. Reception was quite difficult to get hold of. Would not stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

Good secure parking,. Old but clean rooms. We were well looked after by all staff members. Microwave oven would of been good as lacking in cooking facilities.
We stayed 9 nights whilst waiting for caravan repairs. Would stay there again.
