中心部(CBD)か距離があります。寒かったり雨が降っている時は、微妙な離れている距離を歩くのががしんどかったです。設備も全体的に古く、湯沸かし器も古くて使いたくない状態でした。 周辺はとても好みの街並みだったので、楽しめました。スタッフも皆さま親切で、細々助けてもらいました。“ロッジ”と名前についているホテルって、車で来る人がターゲットにかもしれません。 リピ無し。

簡単な食事ができる設備もあったし、近くにお店もあり快適に過ごせました。移動にも便利でした。

バスタブが無かったのは、残念ですが スタッフの対応は、良かったです。

市内中心部からは少し離れているが、イタリア人街の中心に位置し、レストランやコンビニエンスストアには困らず便利な立地。あと、ベランダに灰皿が置いてあり、喫煙者には有難い。

自分でアレンジしたメルボルン旅行でしたが、4泊すべてライゴンリッジに滞在しました。 ホテルの立地は、トラムのフリーゾーン（無料区間）から少し外れていますが、周辺にメルボルン大学や博物館があるなど落ち着いた環境にあります。 メルボルン市内中心部のメジャーなホテルとは違い、設備等もこじんまりとしていますが、ドライヤー、冷蔵庫、アイロン、シャンプーなども備わっており、部屋によっては自炊も可能です。 フロントにいるスタッフ（1人で対応）は毎日変わりますが、それぞれの方が的確に対応してくれたので、全く困ることはありませんでした。一緒に同行した友人の部屋を同じフロアに替えてくれたり、オーストラリアオープンのチケットを印刷するためにパソコンを使用させてくれたりと、こちらのリクエストに気持ち良く応えていただきました。 少し郊外にあるものの市内中心部までトラムも使えますので、移動に困ることはありませんでした。 周辺の治安はよく、イタリアンカフェなどが多く、食事をするにも便利です。道路を渡ったところにセブンイレブンがあり、水やサンドイッチ等はここで買えますが、ビールなどの酒類はおいていませんので、少し離れたところ（２００ｍ程度）にあるリカーショップを利用しました。 宿泊料もリーゾナブルで今度メルボルンに来た時も利用したいホテルです。

カールトンはカフェの多い街。以前から良いな～と思っていましたが、シティにも近いし、このロケーションは値段的にはとても安いと思いました。3泊でツインルームで約33000円。友人がメルボルンに住んでいるため、後ろに駐車場があったのも便利でした。エアコンがちょっと弱くてうすら寒かったのだけが残念ですが、冷蔵庫のほか、電子レンジやトースターもあり、部屋で簡単に朝食をとることも可能です。

Lugon street はリトルイタリーと呼ばれているようで、イタリアンをはじめ飲食店が近くに多く有ります。また、woolworthsやセブンイレブンも近くにあるので、ちょっとした買い物にも困りません。

Clean room, parking could be an issue in early evening.

I had a great 4 night stay at The Carlton Lodge. Came to Melbourne for a special overnight show & to visit family in Brunswick. The Carlton Lodge was very convenient to Melbourne Museum & short walk & tram ride to everything else. I travel on a budget, so having the kitchen facilities for breakfast was perfect. Step outside & you have all the cafe & restaurant choices of Lygon Street. Plus Cinema Nova two blocks away. Things to be aware of: there are maintenance issues during the renovation. The lift door is slow - always press the button even if the lift door is open. The hotel is in the busy cafe/ restaurant district it can be noisy at times. I stayed in Room 118 which backs Ormond Lane. It's noisy when the hotel parking lot gate opens, & when the garbage trucks are working the lane. If you don't like the restaurant smells, close the kitchen window. Plenty of ventilation from the balcony sliding door or the split system aircon. No internal building noise when I was there. The staff were all friendly, helpful & professional. They stored my bag on early arrival on the Sunday. On Tuesday, I left for the event at Melburne Museum at 1.00 am. So it was reassuring to chat with the reception clerk & know that there'd be someone at the desk when I returned at 6.00 am. All the bedding was clean & comfortable. The room was made up every day if I wanted. Reception happily stored my bag after checkout so that I could make the most of my time in the city. A great relaxing stay.

Room was basic but clean. Motel currently doing renovations so some areas were very untidy. Limited parking made it hard to find somewhere to park on the street. Room had a small kitchenette but no cutlery, not even a teaspoon. Lots of options close by for meals at night but nothing open Sunday morning for breakfast. Easy to find & close to CBD.

Great location in Lygon St Unfortunately having renovation done at the moment. Didn't interfere with stay. Close to lots of quality dining establishments 😋😋😋 Definitely recommend and definitely will come again

Very nice property close to the city, shops , restaurants and transport. Parking is an added bonus, also lots of off road parking nearby. Very helpful staff. Though some renovation work going on, didn’t disturb much! Value for money!

Room needed a renovation, old carpet and was smelly and dusty, water pressure in the shower was terrible, bathroom wasn’t clean

It's a great location and friendly reception staff. You need to book through the hotel directly to get complimentary parking though - not made clear on the WotIf site. Be aware there is building renovation work happening that reduces the number of car spaces and makes manoeuvring into a car space difficult - and can be noisy during the day in the rooms.

In room ac/heater worked well. The staff was amazing. From a North American perspective, amenities (water pressure wasn't great) and conditions weren't 100%, but I would stay here again 100%.

Place is under renovations so not in top shape at the moment. However it was sufficient for my short stay.

On arrival I was upgraded - to get to the room you go through the fire door (not that there was a sign indicating this!) The room doesn't look like the photo (see my pictures attached) only one side table on double bed, kitchenette sink had broken tape, wardrobe is in the bathroom, no heating in bathroom, shower head was 'jerry-rigged', hand towel is a 30cm square, lighting throughout was way too bright (wrong bulbs?), street noise was non stop - from cars, trucks and motorcycles even garbage trucks at 0400 in the morning! The staff unprofessional (insisted sharing the lift with me carrying a wet mop for the sake of 3 minutes) had no idea - just disgusting!!!....short of a motel I stayed at in Oregan USA that had greasy yes greasy sheets ..this was close to the worst.. would never
