中心部(CBD)か距離があります。寒かったり雨が降っている時は、微妙な離れている距離を歩くのががしんどかったです。設備も全体的に古く、湯沸かし器も古くて使いたくない状態でした。 周辺はとても好みの街並みだったので、楽しめました。スタッフも皆さま親切で、細々助けてもらいました。“ロッジ”と名前についているホテルって、車で来る人がターゲットにかもしれません。 リピ無し。

簡単な食事ができる設備もあったし、近くにお店もあり快適に過ごせました。移動にも便利でした。

バスタブが無かったのは、残念ですが スタッフの対応は、良かったです。

市内中心部からは少し離れているが、イタリア人街の中心に位置し、レストランやコンビニエンスストアには困らず便利な立地。あと、ベランダに灰皿が置いてあり、喫煙者には有難い。

自分でアレンジしたメルボルン旅行でしたが、4泊すべてライゴンリッジに滞在しました。 ホテルの立地は、トラムのフリーゾーン（無料区間）から少し外れていますが、周辺にメルボルン大学や博物館があるなど落ち着いた環境にあります。 メルボルン市内中心部のメジャーなホテルとは違い、設備等もこじんまりとしていますが、ドライヤー、冷蔵庫、アイロン、シャンプーなども備わっており、部屋によっては自炊も可能です。 フロントにいるスタッフ（1人で対応）は毎日変わりますが、それぞれの方が的確に対応してくれたので、全く困ることはありませんでした。一緒に同行した友人の部屋を同じフロアに替えてくれたり、オーストラリアオープンのチケットを印刷するためにパソコンを使用させてくれたりと、こちらのリクエストに気持ち良く応えていただきました。 少し郊外にあるものの市内中心部までトラムも使えますので、移動に困ることはありませんでした。 周辺の治安はよく、イタリアンカフェなどが多く、食事をするにも便利です。道路を渡ったところにセブンイレブンがあり、水やサンドイッチ等はここで買えますが、ビールなどの酒類はおいていませんので、少し離れたところ（２００ｍ程度）にあるリカーショップを利用しました。 宿泊料もリーゾナブルで今度メルボルンに来た時も利用したいホテルです。

カールトンはカフェの多い街。以前から良いな～と思っていましたが、シティにも近いし、このロケーションは値段的にはとても安いと思いました。3泊でツインルームで約33000円。友人がメルボルンに住んでいるため、後ろに駐車場があったのも便利でした。エアコンがちょっと弱くてうすら寒かったのだけが残念ですが、冷蔵庫のほか、電子レンジやトースターもあり、部屋で簡単に朝食をとることも可能です。

Lugon street はリトルイタリーと呼ばれているようで、イタリアンをはじめ飲食店が近くに多く有ります。また、woolworthsやセブンイレブンも近くにあるので、ちょっとした買い物にも困りません。

Great location . But staff disinterested , bizarre set up for entrance , and ongoing maintenance being done on property

had to be moved from first room.. the stench of bleach was disgusting! long life milk curdled, shower was gross.. was moved with no trouble… staff were disengaged and eating food at checkin counter. to get to room you had to walk past cleaning stuff. our second room didnt smell.. sheets were clean, towels were small and tap was broken, no grate in bathroom vanity.. dont drop your rings in basin! toilet brush was its own science project.. ewwww. I do not recommend at all

Location excellent for purpose of attemding international garden show. Middle of lots of eateries. Room aircon good, had kettle for tea or coffee, bathroon good size ,water pressure low but good temperature. They are renovating at present (march 2026) but they only work during day stopping around 5pm. Staff helpful at all times.

Great place, great location.

The rooms were fundamentally different to the photos - they were dirty (to the point there were dust bunnies on top of the airconditioning unit), in poor condition and with peeling paint. Not the sort of place you go back to if you want to relax. My room was next to the exhaust stack for a next door restaurant, which left it smelling of grease and grill cleaner - I tried turning on the airconditioning, which didn't help, and which inflamed my allergies. I had originally booked for three nights but had to leave after one night - I told the reception staff why I was leaving, but they showed absolutely no interest or concern. Avoid at all costs.

The room was dusty, the bed was hard, there was no toilet roll holder in the bathroom, and my friend had an allergic reaction to fumes coming into their room via the aircon/vent from a nearby restaurant. The staff member at the reception desk did not seem to care about our experience when we told them about the fumes and that we would not be staying for the rest of the nights booked.

Great location on Lygon St. Walking distance to whatever is needed. Been here before,would stay again. Room was sufficient size and condition for our needs.

Stayed there for 4 nights . Check in was quick . Staff very helpful and informative . The room and the bathroom were almost spotless . Location is great no matter you drive or not with a lot of choices of restaurants around . Also the room has a kitchen which was also clean and we cooked up some meals to save some money from dining out . All in All , our stay was great and it deserves our coming back .

The room was acceptable, the position was great with easy access to Buses and Trams (a short walk across the Piazza) in Lygon street, additionally 24 hour convenience with 711 across the road. The Carlton Lygon lodge team were always approachable and attentive.
