​The condition of this apartment upon our arrival was completely unacceptable. I am rating this experience 0 stars and demand an explanation as to why it was rented out in this state. ​The general lack of cleanliness was appalling. We found marks on the blinds and the floors were visibly dirty, so much so that I had to clean them myself. The lounge was also so unclean that we had to use our own blanket just to sit on it. Furthermore, the fridge made an unacceptably loud noise, adding to our discomfort. ​It is baffling that this apartment was released to a guest without a thorough cleaning. The standard of hygiene provided was simply inadequate and completely ruined our initial impression and overall stay. ​I would strongly caution others against booking this apartment until the management can guarantee a dramatic improvement in their cleaning and maintenance standards.

For the money, is a no. I have stayed at the Ruby as a hotel guest previously, and I have now stayed at the Ruby as Serain resident guest. Every day of the week I would chose and prefer to stay at the ruby as a hotel guest, because the room was cleaner, fresher and in a far better condition.

Noisy

The apartment is so clean and the design is perfect. So quiet and loving the ambiance and all. Perfect for couple and families to stay. Free parking and very close to surfers paradise. The area wasn't noisy at all and you will enjoy your stay. Excellent!

Property was good, clean and conveniently located. Communication leading to check in really soured the experience

The hotel was in great proximity to everything we needed. Great parking, easy access with keykards but also secure. The apartment itself was quite dirty. Lots of dust which triggered asthmatics. Also the batteries need to be changed in the smoke detection, beeping through the night. The floors had not been clean and toenails were in the carpet. The air conditioner in the 2nd bedroom was leaking onto the wardrobe door and carpet. The main concern was the bed in the main bedroom. The sheets had makeup on them and there were visible handprints on the headboard in what looked like lubricant. With no other option of spare blankets, we had to sleep on the bed. Not cool.

Prooerty was well managed as didnt realise was schoolies time but was still quiet & security was good. Was a good stay

Where do I start, the treasure hunt for the keys. The second key in a different location🙄 The apartment was dirty and run down and depressing. 3 knives, 3 forks, 3 spoons, what’s with that😡 too bad if you want to have anyone around for a bbq, I went out and brought more cutlery. Everything was cheap and nasty. Will never stay there again.

terrible communication. No one is going to answer the phone after hours. No staff to get help. If you are checking in after hours, be careful because they will never going to answer the call if you need help. We couldn’t check in because they haven’t send us the check in details and we were trying to get help but no one answers the phone nor reply to my email for quite a long time. Very disappointing with the communication.

Nice and clean property. Great size for a family of three. Close to everything but can be quite noisy because of the hotel next door.

The quality of accommodation was to a high standard, beautiful building. I would like to see the bar area being used for what it is. The area could be heartbeat of the hotel and GP would be the big winner.
