It was ok, the pool was good. The room needs a bit of an upgrade and a new TV as it kept doing strange things. We were annoyed that there was no breakfast available in the restaurant. There also needs plates and bowls

Staff was excellent!

Needs an upgrade Shower needs bleaching or such, exhaust fan needs cleaning, no where to charge your phone when just have your cord, light switch was faulty, even got a zap. Just old and aged

Lovely rooms. Spa, but could not use it due to disability. Lovely, helpful, kind staff. Restaurant was amazing. Lovely swimming pool, but didn't get to use is. Lovely manicured grounds.

Room very clean and all staff very helpful especially on arrival male staff had eftpos issues and didn’t delay my check in - instead gave me keys and tour whilst on hold. Extremely pleasant experience and will be back for sure! Thankyou

The property was nice, a bit run down. The room was old, but tidy. The pool was clean but the tiles & walls around were very dirty. The restaurant was nice, good prices for lunch especially as they include hot vegies & salad bar.

Despite their ageing rooms and facilities, this property excelled in customer care and service; clean and spacious room with a jetted tub was good value for money; stayed for 4 nights to access Penfold’s Magill Estate and the world-class wineries in McLaren Vale; the affordable accommodation we had at St Francis permitted us to binge on tasting the delicious and iconic wines in the region; thank you to Angie and to our lovely room attendant for keeping our room safe and tidy everyday; I will stay here again and recommend them highly for showing kindness and respect for paying customers like us; well done to you all at St Francis Winery Hotel!

I didn’t stay long, but the lady who checked me in was lovely the room was clean and tidy. I had everything I needed. I didn’t hear much road noise from the room that I was in despite reading complaints from other patrons in the reviews.

Provide road signs or entryways would be good.

There was black mould on the ceiling outside our room, and the flyscreens on the windows didn't fit properly and flies and bees got in the room.

Wasn’t too bad overall, curtains didn’t block out much sun and the tv was mounted on a wall not facing the bed, a little inconvenient but not the worst, at the very minimum there could be some water in the fridge or atleast a jug to cool some water if needed 👌

It's a great venue that is dated and could do with a re-furb. The staff were great and attentive. We had a function and couldn't fault the food, service and venue for our party.
