Location of this property is great. Restaurant on the premises and bar. Convient. Short drive or not to far to work into the centre to shops cafes and other attractions

The food was great, the room was a let down in that it wasnt as nice as the pictures made it seem, but the bedroom its self wasnt terrible. it did have a mold patch in the bathroom and the shower head was smaller than i expected from the photos. The bathroom also didnt have an extraction fan but was on a sensor light, which the idea of is great but it was so bright that you almost felt like you where being abducted when you used it in the night. I found the trafic sound was loud over night, Being that the window of the room faced the road and this did make it harder to sleep. I was also woken at 6am by the staff trollies going past, they where so loud i thought they where heavy rain.

We were on a road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide and looking for a good night rest. This turned out to be exactly what we didn’t want to experience. The hotel is situated at the busy intersection and our room is the closest to the intersection. Heavy traffic starting at 6+ and there are heavy trucks passing by every 10 seconds. Upon check out the front desk staff didn’t bother to find out whether we had a good night rest instead she started by asking “did you consume anything at the minibar?” We wouldn’t return to that hotel and we wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay there especially when you need a quiet rest after a long days drive. Extremely disappointing!

The noise from the main road is unbearable The main road is literally facing the rooms especially if you’re in the room is closest to the road. It is like the trucks are coming through the middle of your room constantly all night. The property is also not very clean. It feels musty dirty and the towels are disgusting. Not my ideal accommodation. I can tell you that as for the restaurant the grill is foul. I couldn’t even even eat one steak. It was covered in 2 inches of charcoal. The broccoli was soaked in of oil the food out onto my plate.

The motel was in a good location however parking was limited. Would have been good if the room had some plates and cutlery.

A little far from the centre of the city. Good quality soap. Choice of TV channels good also.

Great location. Front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. The room was really spacious and clean with everything you need. The bed was a bit hard for me (just personal preference) and as it’s on the main road there was traffic noise at night but it wasn’t too bad and did not effect my sleep.

Great option for an overnight or extended stay. Clean, modern facilities and great location within the town. Beds were the best we have found in South Australia.

Very friendly staff. Room was a bit dated but had all you need, main issues was I could hear the tv from next door (but they may have had it very loud)

Looks great from the front but the room was a little tired. Fridge configuration made it difficult to get food in and out of. Great location. No microwave in room, wanting people to use their restaurant. Couple of fast food breakfast options within walking distance.

Enjoyed our stay at the Commodore excellent location for our stay

Kitchen is fully equipped but not for cooking. There's facilities to make tea or coffee and heat up food (microwave) if you need to. We did not expect cooking facilities. The room is clean, bed and pillows soft. Location is handy. Will come back again.

We have been in Australia for 39 days and this is the nicest hotel we have stayed in. Wish we had been able to stay more than one night
