部屋が広い。タオル交換やベッドメイキングはないが、頼めば新しいタオルを出してくれる。セントキルダビーチまで徒歩10～15分。周辺に飲食店やスーパー、コンビニがあり、食事や買い物には困らなかった。トラムの駅が目の前にあり、中心街までトラムで15～20分。空港発着のスカイバスの停留所まで徒歩10～15分。ホテルの質、立地環境を考えると、かなりコスパがいいと思った。

キルダビーチまで歩いて5分くらい！デザイン性豊かでオシャレなホテルでした！受付にいるスタッフさんが日本が大好きということで、楽しく会話をしてくれました！お陰様でこの街が大好きになりました！今度はバルコニーが付いている部屋に泊まってみたいです！

Not clean, other people’s clothes were left in my room on checking in, (socks left on the floor) clearly not cleaned. Carpets were threadbare in places and stained. Bathroom was not clean, hair and stains

Shops and tramlines very close

I used to always stay at this hotel a few years ago and always loved it bc of its location and its retro shabby chic vibe. Since, however, it’s only gotten shabby and kind of gross and run down. Now the vibe is halfway house, with dirty and mouldy bathrooms, really old mattresses that make you itchy and just dusty and old items. The TV wasn’t a a smart one and only offered local channels, etc. The owners should update the rooms and at least buy newer furniture. The only saving grace is the staff, they are lovely and helpful. The front desk staff and handy person were the best part of my stay there.

Fantastic location, staff are so kind, clean and comfortable, the 2 bedroom top floor apartment is one of the only ones in St Kilda with a balcony and privacy - view of the city in the distance. It is quiet, can't hear street noise or the trams. Close to everything. Just needed more glasses for 4 people in the room.

The room was very tired and had bad paintwork, patch up jobs everywhere. Bathroom ceiling was covered in mould, grout in shower mouldy. Dust all over ceiling fan and aircon looked dusty too, was spitting water on me the first night. Bed was comfortable and sheets were clean thank god. Floor in common areas looked un-vacuumed despite vacuum cleaner sitting out for most of day.

The shower grout was mouldy The room is old and tired and needs updating There’s no lift and my wife was on crutches so was hard for her to get up and down the stairs The aluminium frames they have put inside the old windows go over the door knob to the balcony so make it awkward to open the door The out door table is all rusty The fridge in the room was noisy so you heard it when you were trying to go to sleep The ceiling has all exposed pipes It is old and dreary and is in definite need of updating with what they are charging for a night Very disappointed the pictures on the website aren’t what you actually get

Great service and place to stay. Very colorful with it's artwork. Quiet stay and easy access to the tram line across the road.

Clean, quiet, quirky and deliciously close to St Kilda snackeries.

Not worth it.

Location of hotel in St Kilda was excellent. The Tolarno itself has an arty boutique feel. It looks a bit tired in places but if you can past that I would stay again. 2 mins walk to great Irish bar - Fifth Province. You need to go there.

Great location for what I needed. But no meal facilities and the wifi was no existent. I ended up having to hotspot my phone.
